Regarding the product itself
In my currency, this would be a $550 solo violin library, given that it requires full Kontakt. The vibrato and sustain patches don't sound pleasant to my ears at all and more reminiscent of a swarm of flies. The demos for this thing, including the one in Pete's review, all generally use exclusively long or exclusively short articulations for the melody. This tells me, I can tell by listening to it, that it will fall apart if you try to sequence a multi-articulation, interesting musical phrase with it.
I've sequenced nicer-sounding, more-realistic stuff with the Solo Violin included in "Ancient Era: Persia", which total expenditure to obtain is several hundred dollars less than The Showrooom Violin. One could also purchase OT's "Nocturne Violin", which is far more realistic and musically capable than The Showroom violin, and total cost is also several hundred dollars cheaper.
So "Can a (3)39 strings library be the only solo violin sample library you'll ever need?" as per the marketing's suggestion?

Yeah I would need to get Kontakt, a PC, a 4K TV and a Dyson to use this library, those €249 libraries are a lot cheaper. Hang on, you don't have Kontakt?AngelCityOutlaw wrote: ↑Fri Feb 14, 2020 1:45 am First off, good review from Pete C.

Sounds like a beginners first time playing a cheap violin that won't stay in tune.

I'm sorry if I sound rude, but very unpleasant sound, terrible vibrato. So my answer to the question, is no, definitely not this library will be the only library you need. There are better sounding FREE libraries e.g. Performance Samples Solo Violin Legato: https://performancesamples.com/soloviolinlegato/ (https://performancesamples.com/soloviolinlegato/) and Virharmonic Violin Freebie: https://www.virharmonic.com/violin_freebie (https://www.virharmonic.com/violin_freebie)If you got more money in your budget, then I'd recommend Emotional Violin.

Are there also solo strings without vibrato? I prefer to play the vibrato myself... preferably as sfz, then I could load them into my MPE capable synths/samplers...

The violin samples could be decent, but choice of reverb and EQing seems pretty bad to my ears, in all demos.
