Lots of them, actually. Many still active, most (like me) are familiar with it due to using it in the past.

I only mention it when it’s relevant. Example:
Relevant: I own an older license for Renoise, but I grew out of my interest (or tolerance) for trackers and almost never even open the program. Trackers are where I got my start and therefore I respect them and I think Renoise is the best tracker ever, but I’m personally done with them.
Irrelevant: Hey everybody, I’m a vegan.
Or maybe it’s not irrelevant: YOU brought up vegans. Even amongst groups of self-declared progressives or anti-bigots, it seems to be that vegans are the one group of people that it’s still “perfectly acceptable” to target with bigotry. That’s uncool.

As a decade-long vegan then I accuse myself of self-bullying.

Have had a copy for over a year, but have been avoiding just jumping in. Story of my life, it seems

renoise is a great sampler, the sequencing reminds me of my rm1x (in step mode); with sampling it is the most rapid and intuitive workflow.
I have several daw (live, fl studio, reason, studio one) this is the first one I open to test an idea, the working spirit "less is more".
I also work with redux and glitch2.
my first pc is amiga 500
my first musical love is jungle drill n bass idm mid 90s
my fisrt hardward is combo sampler+groovebox
my first software(no warez) is renoise on 2007

Oh yeah, I forgot about Redux. I use the demo in Logic for my old tracker songs that I’ve ported. It’s the easiest way to port tracker instruments to a modern DAW. It’s generally a well-made tool...
Unfortunately, the more instances of Redux I add to a Logic project, the more latency Logic has in start/stop of transport. It becomes so annoying that I don’t want to work on the projects... or buy a license for Redux.
I reported it on the forum and no one had a single comment. It hasn’t been updated once.
So I’ve not bought a license and I leave those projects for some future day...

What's really uncool is every Vegan on the planet having to tell everybody else that they are a vegan, or about how great veganism is, or meat being murder, or meat being poison, or any other crap they want to spout without any provocation, nobody cares if you are a vegan, but hey you thought you would spout it because somebody made a joke.Jace-BeOS wrote: Fri Feb 21, 2020 2:00 pm Even amongst groups of self-declared progressives or anti-bigots, it seems to be that vegans are the one group of people that it’s still “perfectly acceptable” to target with bigotry. But here you are spewing the very same anti-vegan BS yourself after the issue was already over. You brought it up again just to make an unprovoked attack on vegans.
I witness vegan-haters talk about veganism way more than myself or my vegan friends ever talk about veganism. Our very existence pisses off some people. That’s just f**king crazy.
I even had to listen to a humanist at a meeting slamming vegans as being “irrational” & “unhealthy” just because the event organizer provided us (my companion and I) with vegan pizza options at the gathering. It was unprovoked, uninformed bigotry, in a group of people who specifically declare themselves ethical progressives. I let it slide. I’m always having to let this shit slide because the second I respond to it, there comes someone like YOU complaining about vegans being compelled to talk about veganism!
But hey,
