Are the pianos in the new capsule entirely new?

Is there any duplication of your older piano set in the new piano capsule--I noticed that some of the names were similar.

Assuming that there is some duplication, can you give us a breakout of what is new and what not? Thanks.

Well, I thought I'd seen a list of some of the pianos in the new set somewhere, but I just looked at the Sonic Reality site and couldn't find any mention of the new pianos. Sorry if I jumped the gun. Maybe I looked at an ad for the old set somewhere, but I would have sworn I'd seen at least a partial list of the new ones.

On the other hand, will these be all new pianos, or a mix of tweaks of the older ones and some new ones? Is it possible to learn hom many velocity layers they'll have, their size, etc? (Had to get those questions in, somehow...)

There will probably be some samples that are from the same sessions, so they might sound similar. It probably won't be the exact same samesets as the eRom though. Judging from the other eRom vs Capsule info, the piano capsule will probably have more variety, and possibly more character than the eRom.

Maybe it's like a "version two" of the eRom?

More info on the Piano Capsules when they are closer to being released. But, yes, there are different ones and there are usually 2-4 velocity layers.
