What are all the ITB options for Fender Twin Reverb Blackface AMP?

- Amplitube Fender (2009)
- Sknote TwinR (2019)
- DiBiQuadro Virgo - Nebula A.C.Q.U.A. (2019)
Intel Core2 Quad CPU + 4 GIG RAM

Amplitube Fender 1 is pretty outdated at this point. I suppose you could demo it, but I found it uninspiring compared to the real thing. Then again, it doesn't weigh 100 lbs.

Simulanalog has a few amp sims. With GUI
SoftAmp FM25 / Guitar Rig 5 player / Classic F
Not a sim, but a pedal, I would also recommend placing a cab sim after it.

A is the pedal.

Kuassa's Matchlock has tweed graphics but it has been suggested that the sound is more blackface-inspired. It has less of a raspy/fuzzy sound than the tweed models in IK Fender 2, so may be what you're after? I like both.

I feel like the Clean amp in Neural DSP's Plini does a terrific clean Fender Blackface sound. Not sure if that's what it's actually based on, but definitely in the ballpark.

I'll admit to being underwhelmed as well with the amps, but it does have a few nice effects.

Of course it's nowhere near as outdated as the Twang amp from Guitar Rig.

Amplitube Fender 2 doesn't have a Twin, afaik. Scuffham does nice tones, though.

NeuralDSP do some of the best amp sims anywhere and Plini gets my vote. I own Amplitube Fender 2, and a vintage Princeton Reverb and Fender Twin Amp (the "Evil Twin").

That's actually quite nice sounding and has a very nice simple interface, which is a nice change from most guitar amp plugins. My only issue with it trying the demo, is that it can be quite cpu hungry compared to most amp sims.

I still love that one. Not greatly like a Fender Twin, but it has it's own character, great for funk and the more scratchy end of jangle/indie.

For a free amp that has a fenderish mode, something like the Twin, check out Blue Cat's Free Amp. It has a clean fender type channel, a marshall type drive channel and a modern gain channel. I'd use them over Guitar Rig anyways.

Blackshow seems to be based on a Fender Blackface.

I haven't demo'd it yet but based on some videos I've watched, the new Presonus Ampire Twin sounds very good.
