Dude, I know the feeling. After a long period of having to walk away, I'm just now starting to create again with some regularity, although now I'll likely be sticking to Music Cafe contests (unless a particularly compelling synth pops up in the ol' OSC). Good luck with all the things, as they say, this too shall pass!
Thx Dude. Terrifying that my comment is 7 months old. It took me a long time for the sad things.
Have a great Day

Full bucket's new Tricent Mk III could be a great candidate for next month's OSC.

As soon as I've read the announcement I knew the next round will be another FB round. This is kind of an OSC inevitable law of nature: FB release - OSC round go together protons and electrons... What makes me relucant to the idee - it's been reported that it has terrible aliasing with some filter settings.

I would rather like to see MusicDevelopments Syne http://musicdevelopments.com/syne.html#header3-5h
Yes I know it's not free but I think it's an pretty interesting Synth. More in the category of a "Tranzistow" in terms of "Capable like hell but fends of user with an ugly GUI".
The gods of he OSC should talk with Attila if he's willing to provide us with temp licenses.

Syne looks interesting, for sure!

Tyrell would make for an awesome OSC. It's very capable and sounds really good... but does eat your CPU a bit.

We've actually done Tyrell N6 twice, I had great fun with it the first time, way back at #28! I'll vote for Full Bucket this time. I've been playing with their new Vocoder lately, that's been fun...

+100 for Syne or Tricent Mk III. Syne I bought but haven't played around with nearly enough and I'm dying for a good op to do so. Bjorns stuff is always great so I'm sure that would be loads of fun too.

"Synister" an open source synth by University Students from Berlin (available for Windows and Mac as VST/AU)

Not sure if this has been tried or suggested for OSC before.

Synister is also a great choice!
* tries to steer the theme away from commercial synthesizers

I’ll vote for Full Bucket when I can get it or SQ8L, Dexed, or PG8X.
Synth1, PG8X, Dexed, Sound Canvas VA, FB-3x00 series, blooo, scrooo, qyooo, SQ8L, GTG FM4, DSK Asian and Indian DreamZ, and much more VSTs. Casio, Yamaha, Korg, Alesis HW.

The Waldorf Edition LE is free at the moment (and it's been free many times in the past), I don't know when it will end, but I would make an interesting OSC to be able to use all three plugins: Attack, PPG Wave 2.v, D-Pole as part of the track. This would help a lot of people who struggle with percussion, because there's a dedicated percussion synth with presets! Maybe we could be shady and just download these installers and make them free next month if the deal goes away... :scared:

Eheh...yeah, I had it from years ago (2015, I think) and didn't like it then...still can't ever warm up to the PPG for some reason. Certainly a clean synth, but...well... hey, maybe an OSC would force me to find the good sides!?!  :tu:
