Now then

Another one of my Saturday afternoon noodles here for your aural pleasure.

Two magical M42 patches from Mystahr's Random Weirdness bank, tweaked by my good self, plus some simple drums smeared with some Camelphat, and an Imposcar on bass duties, probably too much Pantheon reverb and a bloody awful hangover.

192kbpspbpsp, 11 M, I can do a 128 version if thats too big for anyone.

Comments and suggestions welcome and encouraged :D

Hope you like it

jim this is a nice tune. 8)

very relaxing and really my kind of tunes.

Ya know it could a be one of myine actually ;-)

though a little comment?

I think it is a bit too long and gets a bit repititititive. but maybe only the beats should change a bit over time.

Good choice of sounds for that kinda song and I didnt find the hidden tarnce track there :hihi:

Now I´ll listen to your EFFOFF :-)

cheers

My thoughts exactly after listening to it again. It originally ended after the bit with the bass, but then I made the schoolboy error of just copying the start part that was recorded on the fly and sticking it in after the bassy bit. I think I'll make a shorter version later...

Now EFFOFF
:-o :lol:

OK...just checked out this tune. Nice use of M42 and Mystahrs patches. He used a VERY long port time which gives these sounds a very spacy nature. I would have NEVER done it...so kudo's to Mystahr :-)Look slike you are an M42 addict now Jim:-)

@Stephan :hug:

@Mystahr, cheers, thanks for sharing the patches.

@Emerald, thanks! :oops:

@Tim, Glad you had a listen to your baby in action :D Yep those are long porto times, but thats what grabbed my attention when I was just flicking through the patches, then a bit of a change of settings, lay down a beat, hit Record, and that was about it! 8) I am a bit of an M42 fan it has to be said, it keeps on surprising me, and i don't think I've got all the patches yet either... 8)

Thanks all

Jim

Ha ! Very sweet chord progression from 3'03 to 4'40.
That's where the tune starts for me. I like sweet progressions. And sweet kisses... :hihi: anyway...

There's a break at 2'36 which feels out of place, somehow ,you know, everything drops but the drums, kinda stretching it a bit. Stick a sweet surprise in there. Must be sweet. A sweet sweeping beat. Or sumnting. :wink:

Glad you like the chord progressons, thats how the tune started life really, just finding a nice melody then noodling around that :)

Nice music Hunter, I have to agree with rsmus7, I think the drums need to be more diverse especially that bass drum, it puts this tune too close to dance (which is not necessarily bad) it does not fit the space theme IMO. Maybe some percusion would fit better, or a sequence that propels the tune along in a rythmic way. Good job with the mix too, all sounds are clear and audible. 8)
