Since I never try those free food samples, but I have been known to download lots of free audio samples, I voted for the audio samples. If the food is so bad they have to give it away, then I don't want it. 
Free audio samples, though they might not always be of excellent quality, offer absolutely no risk of botulism, indigestion, or diarrhea.

That all depends on what the samples are... and how hungery / skint i am! Free samples are great, but they dont fill much of a hole when you've had a 12 hour stint in the studio
