I'll mention this to John, but note the Gold Bank patches will be created by users. Anyone is welcome to create and share patches for whatever plug-ins they like best, and I hope that vibrant patch-sharing communities will arise. We have one already at https://forums.pluginguru.com/unify-share/.

He mentioned sometime around Easter, which is April 12; so, sometime around mid-April.
Thanks K tronix

JitterBox works on real-time MIDI data. If you play on the beat, it's already too late to push the note-on event any earlier.
Haha, I didn't think of that! Guess I was thinking of it more as a humanize effect, and still reeling from the scary extreme off-beat demos! Looking forward to it!

I thought he said something like, "we'll feature a synth and then have users create patches with it" and then mentioned that Massive was a likely first candidate!? We'll see how it works.

hi I just installed Unify.
I use DP on a Mac use both AU & VST so I had Unify scan both.
VST scan was a little weird it started and restarted a couple of times.
I got both completed underneath the available plugin list there’s a bunch in Red that say they are deactivated and a few like Seventh Heaven don’t come up in the pull down menu so I presume this is one of several in Red that are deactivated.I have lots of plugins, is there a way to get Unify to scan and utilize most of the plugins?
How do I correct this?
Thanks

Unify isn't quite two months old, so there are still lots of plug-ins we can't load properly yet. This will get better over time, as I track down the issues. In the meantime, we have noticed that a few plug-ins won't work with our scanner, but can be scanned in individually. In Unify v1.0.9, there are two options:
  • Drag/drop the plug-in file (e.g. .component, .vst or .vst3 file) into the Known Plugins view.
  • Click the Operations button and choose "Select plug-in file(s) to scan", navigate to and select the plug-in file(s), and hit OK.
See this page in the Unify manual: https://pluginguru.net/unify/manual/dok ... d=scanning. (But note it's not perfectly up-to-date and doesn't yet include option 2 above.)

Great thanks for the info. 😍
I also reached out to John and Ilio tech support and solved most of the problems.
For me it was removing Jbridge and old IK plug-ins.
What I also find puzzling is pull down menu for types of effects and synths omit most .
Initially I didn’t notice the All Effects pull down or All Instruments pull down windows.
Some of this is me not rtfm and pilot error.
All things said Unify looks really promising
& I’m sure it’s going to grow and develop quite well.
Thanks

@kgdrum What you're seeing are pre-defined plug-in subsets, which you can edit. Only the "All..." lists at the bottom of each of the plug-in menus show all plug-ins.

Wow. I didn't anticipate this when I bought Unify. I always thought the Reaktor user library was one of the coolest resources in the soft synth world, but libraries for free exchanges of Unify patches has the potential to be the next wave. Can a central clearing house for all of these potential libraries be far behind?

Cheers

Great plugin, loving it so far!

Quick question: Does someone know how to add an octave up/down by using midi?
For example: When I play C1, it will add an C2 automatically?

Great idea. I just added this to our built-in MIDI Filter. And instead of just one extra note, you can have up to 3! Look for this new feature in our next FREE update, coming (probably) this week.

big thank you to John “Skippy” Lehmkuhl and Shane Dunne for making such a fun and creative musical "instrument" for us to use - its like having the perfect "workstation" at your fingertips

played with Unify for a few hours tonight - the idea for this track came from browsing the presets and coming across a fantastic lead with Unify

The Latches etc are so fantastic for playing "live" - all played live on this track except for the Piano which I had to play over-layed (not enough hands). When I have time want to tweak the Portomento slightly down as a bit OTT

Lead - from Unify - in Unify instance 1
Pads - Pigments 2 - In Unify instance 1
Bassline - Vengeance - in Unify instance 2
Piano - Pianoteq 6

Effects - Blackhole, Shadow Hills Mastering Compressor Class A (used in Unify)
