Monster MIDI cables. They just sound sooo much better than any other MIDI cables that I have used.
My main tools: Kontakt, Omnisphere, Samplemodeling + Audio Modeling. Unify = godsend. Tari's libraries also rock.

Post

*nod* Warmer, richer, more 3D. Maybe even 4D. With notes of chocolate, plum, and strained Sterno.

They impress me that much, and I haven't even tried them! Imagine how great they'll sound to someone who really uses them.

It's not that. The MIDI jitter in the Monster MIDI cables is so infinitesimally small that it is virtually non-existent.

They have pretty packaging too...

Really? I'm canceling my order, then. I love to jitterbug! Charleston, too.

the whole best midi cable thing is just so subjective. One person might want a 2m cord, and other a 1.5m. Someone might like a brand because they are the right thickness to prop up a leg on a wobbly studio desk, another might find that one too thin for tying someone up when they do a home invasion to steal all the studio gear.
Strictly personal taste

They just put some fairy dust on everything passing through.
It's subtle but makes the difference.
This tasteful open saturation warms up the electrons.
Top notch quality!

Good catch. Moved (ever so deeply). It's not about instruments or effects, but it's a better match.

Charleston, too.
It’s about a 4 hour drive from me, but just let me know when you need them and I’ll drive down there and get you some.

On a recent trip to the mountains of Tennessee and North Carolina I had to pull off I-81 for fuel. To get to the gas stations I had to turn onto I-77 to Charleston, West Virginia for a couple hundred meters, then exit to local roads. Would've been an interesting trip but there was barely time for the one we'd planned.

Charleston, South Carolina, on the other hand, I've never been anywhere near. So many places I'd like to visit but work and health won't allow. *sigh*

Back on topic, I've never used a MIDI cable in either of these Charlestons, but would be glad for an opportunity to do so.
