Does the NI user agreement specify a time limit for how long you can use to their software? That is, does it say anywhere that your rights to use the software expire after a period? If not, this might be illegal. Knowledgeable people reading this, please chime in.

Who uses NI for anything other than Kontakt in 2020?

When they started raising their prices and adding Super Mega Ultimate Komplete the writing was on the wall.

My guess is they are the most successful music software company out there. So, lots of people.

I'm sure that NI's user agreement is as tight as it could be,but you can be sure that it would be significantly favouring the end user

well for sure they are one of the most if not the most. Do you really need to look that up? Maybe you can look it up and prove me wrong...

I use many old NI software instruments, but nothing on the list...yet. I stopped giving them my money when they were taken over by the beancounter slime. This last move is pathetic.
