Original field recordings (not done by me, by the way) were actually quite interesting with plenty of sonic variety in there. I do agree, though that 'boats on water' is pretty standard stuff.

I have lots of "abandoned" pieces in my various project folders. I load them up every six months or so, and occasionally one of them will spark into life. I rarely delete projects, just in case.

Last night I had a long remix session with an old project which kept misbehaving after migration to a new PC. I had MIDI timing and pitch problems and was up until 3:45 AM fixing it up. Perspective was in very short supply a few times last night :hihi:
