Please don't re-purchase the Genesis. We are currently working on the problem with the keys. Due to heavy traffic it's having some issuesGreenstorm33 wrote: Fri Mar 13, 2020 11:47 pmDizzlerMusic wrote: Fri Mar 13, 2020 11:39 pm My installation failed and now my serial key is invalid, nice. I installed only the 64-bit version, but I'm getting CPU spikes and have audio drop outs in Bitwig. So I thought I might try to install the 32-bit to test, since it could be a bad bit bridge implementation. But I'm not allowed to do that, it tells me my serial is incorrect, meaning the installer contacts the server, and the server tells the installer the serial has already been used.![]()

Good to know, thanks. That would have been a pretty crazy system.NextGen wrote: Fri Mar 13, 2020 11:50 pmPlease don't re-purchase the Genesis. We are currently working on the problem with the keys. Website it up. Download is working and paypal is accepted. For postal codes put a space between the the first 3 characters and the last three characters or it will reject the information. That is for 6 character postal codes at least as in Canada and the U.S.
For me the installer when run as adminstrator does not allow me to select install locations. The option to install 32 bit and/ or 64 bit is there.

Ok, Paypal is there now... but man... what a mess, it's like they're coding the website on the fly at the last minute, like it wasn't set-up and tested in advance... just bizarre.

This should not be necessary. I will wait. Do not really need this thing and will try when boredom strikes.cb8rwh wrote: Fri Mar 13, 2020 11:46 pm Are you running the DAW as admin? I had a no show GUI until I did that.
I hope there is no connection between the coding quality of the synth and the site.

I have it installed now. It wouldn't work and would crash my DAW if I opened it normally, however I tried running as administrator and it has been running smoothly so far.

I managed to get it to run since someone in this thread said you have to run your DAW as an admin. That in turn creates plenty of problems for people (like me) who are not using an admin account. If I run FL studio as an admin, I can't drag and drop midi files and samples. All my VSTs go into demo mode or enter serial mode. Why on earth would a VST synth require admin access?
I also get crackling sounds from Genesis Pro, which most likely is a bug (I had the same problem in another VST, I told the dev about it and he sent me a beta version where the problem is gone, hence my suspicion that this is a bug in Genesis Pro).
This VST needs to have these 2 mentioned problems fixed or it will be a useless synth for a lot of people.

The bridged 64 bit version loads OK in Ableton here (without running Ableton in Admin mode), but getting horrible artifacts / dropouts in the audio..... I guess you get what you pay for

Please use 32-bit Genesis Pro in 64-bit FL Studio(ILBridge). You don't have to run as Admin.eyezermusic wrote: Sat Mar 14, 2020 1:01 am I managed to get it to run since someone in this thread said you have to run your DAW as an admin. The administrator account is only necessary with the Jbridge version.
Also the crackling noise wont be there when you use 32-bit Genesis with 64-bit FL Studio. That should work smoothly!
