Guys some important install notes. If you’re using a DAW which supports native bridging please install the 32 Bit version of Genesis and use the DAWs native bridging. The 64 bit version of Genesis is a customized jbridge version and is best to use this version only if your DAW doesn’t support 32 bit at all. Also the jbridge version works only if you run your DAW in admin mode. About the server en serials we’re still encountering problems we will try to fix that asap. I will try to help and assist all of you as much as I can.

Tried to use the 64bit version as well.... no luck, blank screen 0 sound.
This is a huge flop
back to ANA2 it is for me

MIDI Player 2 issues now but at least I have an interface... still no sound

Ummet
Breh
Come on
Didn't you... like.... test this at all? Like on a different system :dog:

EDIT: Got sound working... buuut MAN this thing sounds weak.

I would suggest scrapping a bunch of the gimmicks honestly since it's probably what's killing the usage
In FL 64 it’s best to use the Genesis 32 bit version using FL’s native bridging this should work smoothly! Like I mentioned before please only use Genesis 64 bit if you’re DAW doesn’t support native 32 bit bridging. The 64 bit version of Genesis is a customized jbridge version and also requires to run your DAW in admin mode to make it work.

Ok...save your 1 £$ or else get ready to become a victim of this hype.

I gave it a last chance again like giving benefit of doubt to a cheating Gf. It does not live up to the hype created by respected Ozcan. You need to change password to use your account which you registered earlier. Installation x64 went ok with built-in jbridge. Gui is nice. First impression was wow. I am a preset guy so started checking them out. Those supplied presets are bull crap and very basic. Soundwise my jaw dropped but not in praise. It sounds extremely thin, dull, boring, uninspiring, sterile, 2D and the list goes on. Other than that 64 jbridged version is full of cracks and pops. I haven't checked other functions as this thing is a lost case for me. Not uninstalled it yet but soon this is going to be eventually happened as I can't stand the toy-ish sounds it makes.

And one more thing. What I get there is a score system like in games that as much spend time playing it, you will unlock more content. May be someone else would want to verify this 'xp'?

developing a synthesizer is not just about "adding features" or making it look super sleek... it needs to be memory efficient and be productive, and we all know that in order to make something really complex that still is fast and memory efficient requires low level coding like C or C++.

Any product that is worked around pré-builted modules in inneficient/outdated graphical development wont be ever eficient in a way that can be used as workhorse in a DAW, no matter how good or cool it looks, it won't...

Look at Synth1 per example, 20 year old code, simple architure... does virtually every type of sound you can expect from a synthesizer... and its light as F!, with a modern computer you could literally load 10000 instancess of synth1 and not crash your DAW.

I really feel sorry this, because it looked really good in the videos, its simply too heavy to be practical...its unpractical, its like building a truck that requires a jet engine and millions of liters to run 10 meters quickly,

I haven't even tryed it, but just by reading the comments and taking into consideration what i know about making synthesizers, and making them in stuff like synthedit or flowstone, i am pretty sure the problem of this genesis pro is all about being over engineered without caution when it comes to weight and now everyone who is sit in low-end/mid range cpu's cant play the plugin without crackles or artifacts as their cpu is not as good as the developer probably is...

No, probably the only good thing about it is it's light on cpu. I think problem is jbridging which is not correctly done or may be something else as I'm not a tech guy.

I am surprised by all the reactions here.
You guys scared me ... and the installation / configuration part did not help a bit.
In the end - I love the synth. There is a lot to write about it. It is original and inspirational for me and weird - for less than 5$.

This synth sits somewhere between ZynAddSubFX, HG Fortune Synths and Nexus. This is not something like Sylenth1. Genesis Pro has wide sound generation + unique rhytmic + rompler features but kinda weak sound . Some included effects can help here...

I have to test it more but what i am missing the most right now:
shape of envelopes (PLEASE!)

best feature:
layer fx, funky gui

bugs:
1) cant automatize anything in bitwig = huge one
2) crusher effect is panned...
32b version works fine in Bitwig 3.1.2 on Dell Inspiron 7577.

Has anyone given a thought for the devs feelings here?
Just wondered.
I wonder what happens if I press this button...

Am I the only one here to wait for password reset to be fixed instead of creating a new account?

Post

I get the same message every time. "The password change request expired. You should ask for a new one." Even though I literally click the link the minute it has been recieved. This is so amateurish. Why not have these things ready before release. What's the point of pre-registering if I can't get a password?

So now I have to buy with another e-mail. But what about the "bonus" we would get for pre-registering then?

Thanks for the fast reply    :tu: :tu: :tu:

Any idea how long the fix is supposed to take??

Will you email us???

The 64 bit version makes lots of crackles in Studio One 64 bit, basically unusable.

32 bit one runs smoothly in Studio One 32 bit. Actually I quite like the sound, at least from the presets.

Wonder if it would make sence to try making my own Jbridged version.
You may think you can fly ... but you better not try

Tested a bit. Sounding very Hifi! The X Gen makes fun. Issues: Long loading time of an instance, about 20 seconds. That‘s too long. There‘s no obvious way to adjust the osc levels. There‘s no way to chose ROM instead of a waveform. Changing a user skin to default won‘t work. And there‘s no way of automation in Bitwig. I wait for the issues for getting solved, but I don‘t regret the 1 Euro for this nice sounding synth!
