I own SampleTank 4 SE.
Will SampleTank 4 CS plus Six New Expansion Libraries give me don't already have?
Do I need a Code to Authorize it? If so, where can I get one?

Yes
ST4 CS and its library (and Serial number) are in your User Area / My Products (some people have reported a delay in ST4 CS showing up). You only need install the ST4 CS Sounds Library, then Authorize it.
The new expansion libraries are just that. New and are separately-purchased libraries. They are NOT part of ST4 CS itself. Once purchased they will also appear in your My Products section with their Serial Numbers.

First of all thanks for the freebie.
But....it hard crashed Reaper in less than 5 minutes while simply trying to load an instrument.(Win10).
Also "50 Instruments" is a bit misleading. More like 20 instruments several of which have variations like Grand Piano, Natural, Pop, Soft, etc.
Can't complain about it in a freebie but it is a bit misleading if someone is expecting 50 different discrete instruments.
So far the samples that stick out for me are the Mixed Soul Voices and EDM Kit. The rest I already have covered in ST3 and/or Syntronik.
Speaking of ST3 has anyone installed this on a system that already has ST3 Full installed? How did that go for you? Not sure I'll install this on my studio computer just yet.....

ST4 automatically adds the ST3 instruments and they load much faster than in ST3.

Thanks I may give it a go then. I assume ST3 will continue to function as before ?

Yes, they both co-exist fine.Teksonik wrote: Sat Mar 14, 2020 7:18 pm Thanks I may give it a go then. I assume ST3 will continue to function as before ?
I am swithching between the two to try and decide which interface I like better.
My first impressions was that ST4 was loading stuff much faster than ST3 but I am not so sure now. It might be because I recently upgraded to 32 GB of ram that ST4 loads so quickly.

Let me see if I've got this right. I downloaded and installed the latest fulll ST (I've got a MAX license). There was no editor at the end of that process. So, I downloaded from the ST CS link and got a file SampleTank_4_1_0.zip which contains a single install exe. I don't need ST CS, but if I want the editor I need to run this install. Is that all correct?
Thanks.
Thanks.

ST4 is a ROMpler first and foremost, so i think they meant "instruments" in a ROMpler sense.Teksonik wrote: Sat Mar 14, 2020 2:39 pm Also "50 Instruments" is a bit misleading. More like 20 instruments several of which have variations like Grand Piano, Natural, Pop, Soft, etc.
I don't know what to write here that won't be censored, as I can only speak in profanity.

Yes I know ST is a Rompler as I've owned it since version 1 but a Piano is one Instrument and a Flute is another instrument so that's two. Kalimba Tines "Comp,Flange,Natural, and Space" are not four different instruments. That's just four different "patches".Burillo wrote: Sat Mar 14, 2020 9:31 pmST4 is a ROMpler first and foremost, so i think they meant "instruments" in a ROMpler sense.Teksonik wrote: Sat Mar 14, 2020 2:39 pm Also "50 Instruments" is a bit misleading. Like I said we can't complain in a freebie but I'm just letting people know not to expect 50 completely different instruments. Many are simply variations some only have different Effects.
If someone is on a strict metered connection it might be valuable information as they decide whether to download or not.
Not complaining just letting people know what's up.

The editor is a separate download and install. It should be in your user area along with a serial number.dmbaer wrote: Sat Mar 14, 2020 9:25 pm Let me see if I've got this right. Where are these accordions you speak of? I have SE and just installed the CS sounds and see no accordions. Is there a list somewhere of the new CS content?stardust339 wrote: Thu Mar 12, 2020 8:46 pm The accordions are exactly what I'm looking for. My ears couldn't believe how nice they sound; definitely beats the competitors' products by a good margin. The toy piano can be very handy in certain situations too.
Is Miroslav Philharmonik 3 coming soon by any chance?

The accordions are packaged in 1 of the 6 new expansions of ST4. The expansions are sample/loop libraries that must be purchased separately.courtjestr wrote: Sun Mar 15, 2020 3:29 pmWhere are these accordions you speak of?
