Sounds cool, kinda reminds me of Jarre...

Can't wait for this bad boy to be ported to Win. 8)
A well-behaved signature.

Impressive, as always. Quick question. I know you said you were having issues with massive noise blasts while using it in the past. Did that get fixed? Or did you end up using something like Nugen Sigmod as an overload protector?

I’m using rogue amoeba’s soundsource (which is amazingly useful, btw) with sigmod on the output for the whole system and it’s been very effective in preventing loudspeaker-destroying shrieks.

Its not fixed yet for me but it might be a system or Logic specific problem. Not sure.
Its mainly due to the analog delay module i think.
I anyway ALWAYS put a limiter on my master channel since you also can do feedback connections which will blow everything. I even got an infinity +db in Logic. Never saw that before. The peak is even faster than the limiter (so even if the limiter is set to stay below 0db it still peaks when this happens) but its at least still save this way.
I reported this and i hope it get solved since it also affects some of my more complex presets.
I still love P900 :)

That sucks. I have a couple of synths that do that every now and then. Scares and pisses me off when I’m using them late at night. Makes me want to get a hardware limiter.

I finally bit the bullet and purchased the software but when I tried to download it per my downloads I got "404 - Page Not Found".

pulsarmodular wrote: Sat Feb 15, 2020 1:50 am Hi guys 8) . I'm out of this business now but it's fun to come back and read this conversation. P900 uses lots of tricks to emulate or mimic the behavior in analog synths. Some mentioned here like small parameter randomization that helps polyphonic sounds in particular, or others like DC-blockers that emulate analog connections and help to keep the low end in check, or drift that is completely random but with a statistical center, and yes, gain staging throughout. The oscillators are high-resolution alias free and the entire engine is oversampled with the output going through a high-quality decimation filter (polyphase FIR/blackman window). I spent two years in my basement studio to try and infuse the characteristics of vintage (and some new) analogs I had as references into P900. Fun times. Some of that worked well, but I believe the key is attention to lots and lots of little details.

It's in good hands with the new team.

Big thanks to Cinebient for being such a strong endorser of this synth :tu:
Hello Fellow Bay Arean. :-)

I just purchased the software from the pulsar modular website but the downloads link to the software appears broken.

Would you be able to get in touch with the Pulsar Modular homeboys about getting that addressed?

Thanks Mang! :-)
