FL Studio: notes in piano roll?

In FL Studio’s piano roll, when you edit a note the next note you draw will have the same values (if you set volume lower -> next note will have the same volume).

1. Is there a way to NOT copy these edited values if I want only one note to be edited?

2. is there an easy way to “reset” the edited note’s value (let’s say I edited one note’s volume lower but decide it’s not working)?

Note = the thing you draw to the piano roll (sorry don’t know the real word for it, blocks?)

1. No, except for note length... holding shift while clicking in a new note will set it length to the set grid
2. No, this has to be done before...
Two ways of working in the PR:

a) do your note entries first and modify other values later

b) FLS will always take the properties of the last clicked note... meaning if you got one "normal" note and one "modified" the next entered note will copy the settings from the last clicked one...

If you want a "normal" note again just click on the "normal" one already present before inserting the new... same other way round...

If you made a mistake and inserted one with "wrong" properties, just rightclick to delete it click on the one you want to copy and insert again...

It might be a bit different in terms of workflow but it can make a lot of sense in a real time scenario as always if you want to insert a bunch of notes which have not the normal grid length it´s a million time faster than working with PR editors without this feature...

Thanks for the info!

Nice one... didn´t try before but sadly doesn´t work for more than one parameter at once...
Is not so much difference than adjusting each value manually...
