It was scheduled for release in January 2020, but I don't think it is released yet.

EDIT: Available now at https://www.pluginboutique.com/product/ ... 9-Scaler-2

When was this announced? I missed the news.

They're working on a version 2? I really can't think of anything that can be added onto the current version, it's perfect for me.
Signatures are so early 2000s.

I wouldn't be surprised if a version 2 is in the works. They have been updating it pretty consistently since launch.

This should be moved to the instruments section btw.

Thanks, that's what I was looking for and could not find.

So, it looks like Scaler 2 is still in beta. Guessing it might take a month or so for the release.

Mod request: Please move it to appropriate forum section if needed. I was thinking to post in Instruments, but thought it is not really an instrument and is a utility rather.

I was thinking the same at first, but after seeing this teaser video of V2, I can't wait to test :o

What would make Scaler a lot more unique and efficient is smart randomization. There is absolutely nothing on the market able to generate random realistic chord progressions, which you can then further adjust to your needs.

Selecting presets from the menu or starting everything from scratch is one thing. Being able to endlessly get inspired by creating randomly (smart) generated progressions is another

That looks awesome. Scaler always interested me, but I never purchased it, even when on sale, which I am now regretting. That video of Scaler 2 has sold me, for someone like me who is a guitarist first and foremost and who as a keyboardist makes a good drummer, this is awesome. Really look forward to messing around with this. Thanks for posting. :tu:

I asked them last year and they said the upgrade will be fairly priced. Might be around $15 mark I guess.
