Well, I was able to install Genesis Pro on two different computers with the same serial number.

I understand that Ummet Ozcan had very good intentions to create a plugin to share it with everyone and be easily accessible for only 1 euro.

But he became very obsessed with the idea of being the sole creator.
He had enough money to hire a good programmer that would be the most logical thing, but I don't know why he didn't.

There are many success stories where non-programmers hired or worked together with a software developer like:

Rapid Parawave: Mirko Ruta + Rene Sander
ANA2: Sonic Academy + Charles Gondre, Ivan Cohen, Ali Barker
DarkZebra 2: Hans Zimmer + U-HE
Serum: Deadmau5 + Steve Duda

Anyway Buy the plugin to give it a chance.

Sorry, maybe a stupid question but 64bit is not clear to me... Do I NEED buy jbridge, or was a 64bit version delivered in the installer? Because I didn't see one.

I am also curious about this. I never got my preregistered account to work and my attempts to get a new password failed (I never got the email for changihng password, and I tried to do it 4 times), so I had to make a new account, and instantly I got the download. Have I missed something?

As far as I know, pre-registered buyers got a bunch of extra skins.

There was a pre-bridged 64 bit version but it was buggy and unusable so it was removed, and according to the Ummet's email there will be no new one. So you have to buy Jbridge separately.

It works fine with Jbridge in Studio One, at least i'm not getting the crackles the pre-bridged version had, and i have not got any bugs or crashes yet.

Same here. Also tried to restore the password few times but failed.

If that exclusive content was only skins i don't miss it much tho.

Just received a long email from Ummet Ozcan / Oz Soft regarding all the problems we have been discussing and the way forward. It's appreciative of them to show that they are looking to help everyone after this overwhelming experience. Everyone who bought it should have received the email, so not quoting the content here.

This is a misquote, I never said anything about installing Genesis Pro - I don't even have a copy.

The problem with the build-in jBridge shows the difference between a large scale launch and small projects. G-Sonique and Superwave both use the build-in jBridge for their plugins and it's manageable because they have a smaller audience. For OzSoft, the audience is much bigger, the probability of getting bugs and errors is bigger.

Judging by the email that was sent today, the list of problems is long, but at least there's a will fix most if not all of them. We'll see.

I still haven't managed to get it to fully download, despite trying for more than 2 days.

Davidson A & M wrote: Sun Mar 15, 2020 5:07 pm This synth edit plugin is violating license agreements for at least CK modules and should get a take down request.. Who ever bought this should get there money back because it is basically as bad as buying pirated software!
Hi Guys,

I would like to address some of the things being said here and clarify a thing or two.

To Davidson A&M,

I feel like it is unnecessary to spam on all platforms about alleged violations of license agreements. Don’t get me wrong, people should talk about it and point out if they spot any possible violations, but the way you have been doing it was unnecessary. I am reading KVR and I have seen your first post, but due to the Genesis launch I haven’t been able to get back to you.

I was given an opportunity to review the contents of the plugin many credits are missing. Just include the credits in the next release that is all I ask. Also the steinberg logo agreements etc. If you release something make sure it is legit. I apologize for a being an a hole but this is pretty standard to credit doesn't hurt anything.. Also you can ask the SE community for help modernizing to current 64 SE to avoid compatibility issues. I still think the synth is one of the most extensive I have seen for SE great job!..

I did not spam on all platforms I merely made a post on face book and here maybe 10 posts. I don't want SE to get a bad name for un complete 32bit un credited release with this much exposure.. However I feel it has done the opposite and got many excited about this wonderful software.. So once again and I am glad you are taking the steps to include everything and thank you..

Sorry, there went something wrong while quoting! I was the one who had no problems to install the plugin twice...

If I might offer some advice:
Dump 32bit altogether and use 1.4 SE 64bit soon to be 1.5
Replace 32bit Sem's with modern 64bit equivalent or prefab
If there is no modern equivalent Sem make it with VS and Xcode
Export VST3 and AU 64bit compatible plugin
Remember to credit..

If you do this you can enjoy the benefits of modern SE performance and most of the other issues will just go away.. My guess is that you will probably try to band aid old 32bit.. I could be wrong but time will tell. I am sure a lot of your customers will appreciate it if you do..

I see.
Well genesis pro is still cheap I guess for such quality.
But the price of it just went up with quite the margin. (15€ Jbridge)
