A lot of them lip 'sync, but she is hot, so who cares!! This is what pop music is all about, isn't it??!! If her sister didn't sing at the first Bush Anauguration, you socialist BOZOS wouldn't even be picking on her, I'm sure!!

As far as pop music on the radio goes-- when I'm in my car and I have the radio on (rather than a CD), I'd rather hear Ashlee Simpson than some of the other crap out there (ie. Jessica Simpson). It's not inspiring music, but it's not all bad.

Disclaimer: I don't have anything against pop music in the first place, mind.

Yeah she's not very hot. She needs to get a lot hotter really fast if she wants to be as popular as her sister.

What happened to her on SNL by the way? I wasnt watching but I just heard the music stop out of nowhere.

Really?

She never struck me as being emaciated. There ARE thin girls out there that are still healthy. My girlfriend is teeny tiny, but she eats 3 square plus snacks daily. Something to do with activity and enjoying 'healthy' food more than junk food.

I, on the other hand, am also pretty damn skinny, but I have no such affinity for healthy food. I eat almost exclusively junk (and plenty of it), but my tapeworm seems to help me keep down to fighting weight.

What is pathetic is no talent artists like this get to be on SNL while truly original and talented acts like the Jayhawks, Flaming Lips, Grandaddy, and others get brushed aside.

I do agree with this statement as well. There are alot of seriously talented folks out there, but they aren't the barbie mold, daughter of so and so, etc.
I do still have to stick by my original post, it was sad watching her look embarassed, lost, and alone....
