It wasn't Milli Vanilli's voice/voices on the record which won a Grammy.

It seems at least Ashlee gets credit for having her own (enhanced) voice on her record.

The race card doesn't apply, so don't be an ass... you ass.
First of all you homo, how the hell are we suppose to know if Ashlee acually did sing on her own album at all if she can't sing most of them "live" like she should have? :x 8)

I know you can foolish a lot of people with too much reverb but this is profound sad!!
Why are you calling people homo like it's an insult? Then you rightly complain about racism in music. Is that double standards or what? :x
Eric call me an ass...and I call him a homo because of it!!!

And why are you making excuse for him and not me? And please tell me it's because he is white so I can verbally dress you down to a standstill. :box:
You ruin an interesting point your making by coming out with some homophobic insult. As for offering me up outside - that's just sad. Don't you get it that disrespecting gay people doesn't help your anti-racist arguement at all? I'm calling you on that issue so what has that got to do with Eric? You said it not him.
At least Caleb know that Eric verbally attack me first by calling me an ass first. 8)

But once again, you never call out the person who started the attack (that was Eric)...but you want to call me out for defending myself (and BTW, I don't even know if Eric is really gay in real life or not and I could care less at this point because he verbally attack me first and I finish it). 8)

So unless you make the time to get everyones side of the story of what really happen, go the hell. :x 8)

And I still think you're being racist for making up excuses for Eric because he's white and I'm not. :x

Am I wrong about some of this people?? 8)

Are there many non-homos that want to be called homos? I think that's what makes it an insult isn't it?

Where are we on the homo insult these days?

Caleb
Well to complain about prejudice against black people (which I think is a valid point) and then disrespect gay people by being prejudice is the issue I'm raising here.

Look at it this way, if it's ok to insult someone by characterising them as 'homo' then where does this stop? Why not insult people by using other cultural stereotypes?

The point I'm trying to make is that it's right to challenge homophobic remarks as much as it is to challenge racism. That doesn't take away from the point Tony is making nor does it make Eric right.

With DMX calls his enemy (Ja Rule) gay, he didn't means gay as in homosexual. He mean gay as in coward, foul, weak, and garbage.

True, I didn't have to call Eric an homo to defend myself from his verbal attack on me. I could have call him a bitch or a retard. But then munkin (whatever that fools name is!!! ) would have accused me for mistreating the handicaps. :D

Either why, I can't defend myself anyone. Like hell. :x

You don't even know the colour of my skin so stop making assumptions. Don't make excuses for using homophobic insults. Would you tolerate someone using the 'n' word. No you wouldn't - and quite rightly too.

I haven't even said I don't agree with you. Even if I didn't agree with you that doesn't make me a racist. I assume you are black but that doesn't make you right about every black issue. You only have to look at the history of black people to know that there have always been major disagreements politically and culturally about these issues.

You are quick to call people racist when they don't agree with you. But that doesn't make them so.

Eric call me an ass. What part of Caleb's or my side of the story that you didn't understand the first.

See there, the real problem here is YOU. You don't listen. You want to believe that I'm always the bad guy. And your Political Correctness is keeping YOU blind, not me.

Like I said before: Talk right to me and I Talk right back. Disrespect me with the namecalling, and in self-defence, I will put you in your place. Period. 8)

Believe me, since 1988 (the year N.W.A. made their national debut), the word "n*****" (spell with -er or -a) has been nice & slowly losing it stock value. And beside, I been noticing some white teens in this multiracial neighborhood of mine calling each other that same "n word" as if they were more "black" than any of us!!!!

Either way, talk is cheap. Unless anyone wants to tell me anything to my face, they're full of BS anyway. So what about YOU? 8)

I know Eric called you an ass. But that's no excuse. If someone called me an ass and I called them a racist name. How is that justifiable? You have every right to defend yourself but not to disrespect others in the process.

Disrespecting black people is wrong but you can't see that disrespecting gay people is part of the same issue called prejudice. You are the one who can't see the link at the moment.

If you think having respect for other people can be dismissed as 'political correctness' then there goes the whole civil rights movement.

Anyway, I've made my point. There's no point in having this discussion if you characterise and categorise anyone who disagrees with you as either 'racist' or 'politically correct'.

And I making my point even further: You should have call both Eric and I out for the namecalling and not just myself alone.

But you're right: Homo was a poor choice of a word to use.

But keep in mind this one important point between the both of us:

I'm not Lady J. I'm TonyVanDam. And I'll be damn if I ever going to allow YOU & everyone else to be giving me a hard time like you & everyone have been doing to her.

So make this YOUR LAST TIME calling me out about anything without listening/reading the whole story in all the posts first.

Do we understand each other? 8)
