Springbox and Nexcellence do an excellent job, I may end up with Twangstrom (which either works wonderfully for me or sounds like garbage, there is no middle ground with it) and Audio Thing's Springs down the road as more special effect-y spring reverbs.

Wow, just got the $20 Springbox, definitely impressed with this - very realisitic!

I have quite a few spring reverb plugins, this is instantly my favorite. Should have known it would be great, since it is PSP.

Even though there are only a few presets, they cover a lot of ground and need very little tweaking.

PSP did a fine job and also has several other good products.
$20 for Springbox is a great deal.

PSP Nexcellence is a rich-sounding, spring emulation inspired by and modeled after “Necklace-type” reverb units.

PSP SpringBox is an emulation of a hardware spring reverberator. It recreates several features typical of a spring reverb, such as a convincing “boing”

I'm trying the demo, not keen on the boing. Nexcellence just sound like a normal reverb to me. SpiringBox does sound nice on guitar.

PSP SpringBox is far and away the best Spring reverb plugin, and I have tried them all. So there's my 2 cents.

FWIW, I also have nexcellence but it gets far less use from me. It does work great on Guitars, but problem is, that's about all it has worked well on so far....

XenoVerb Reverb by Audiority £7.99 at PB it has a spring setting.
Spirit Reverb sounded the most authentic to me.
