Hey Everyone,
Just a quick update on this.
I have received a note about the progress and it looks like we are now focusing on a new offline activation tool which would allow our support to activate all the products listed. I don't have a full overview on how this would work yet but it looks very promising. I'm hoping to have something official about this in our announcement article next week.

on all your software products. For me,
this would be sales advantage in an era
of privacy intrusions, and data harvesting.

As for Native Access, a tickbox option should be
on the gui, that must be manually ticked, before
installing any newer NA version.
In that world, a spreadsheet could be maintained
documenting which NA versions will properly
deal with each individual software you support.
And older versions should be available as readily
as older Reaper DAW versions are.
keep the ball rolling towards the goal!

Ha
Ever since Matt's intervention I kept saying here "lets wait and see what they can do", and we had a gazillion pages of "Never again" / "most evil company ever" nonsense. And I know some will still say that because they made the decision in the first place, but really... who has time for such things?
Thanks again Matt, and to all working (no doubt in very difficult circumstances) at NI to make this happen.
