Thanks for the warm welcome Roger...I’m so glad to be here! Just a small note about my website; It is pre-Jurassic era and is long overdue for an overhaul. 😋 It doesn’t really reflect what I’ve been doing the last few years. But now that I have more time on my hands usual, maybe I’l finally get around to an update. The same could largely be said about my YouTube channel...except there I will be posting a lot more Grid/LinnStrument oriented material over the next bit of time. I’m planning to do some tutorials and lessons in addition to showcasing my compositions, and it would be great to know what kind of content members of this forum might like to see. So I’m grateful for any feedback I can get!

😊

Amazing, wonderful....f-ing awesome!!! Welcome to the community Fontaine! I knew it!!! This is what happens when a real musician picks this up and plays two handed style. After two months?!? Incredible...Fantastic! Can't wait to learn from how you approach this over the months ahead! Please keep posting and making videos! best, Steve

Fontaine

Very nice, a bit annoying you play it better than me after two months though :)

Thanks so much Steve! Your videos are one of the things that inspired me to pursue the Linnstrument...so I’m much obliged!

Well, in the interest of honesty, I had some time on the Launchpad and Medusa a few months before that...so maybe five months is more realistic. Those two were my gateway dr*g 😂

Well, I'll consider that mission accomplished on my end then! I am really looking forward to seeing more of what you are doing and seeing where you go with it.

“Rabbit Hole” is the debut track from the Social Distancing Virtual Quartet. The sax (SWAM Alto) and bass (Trillian Acoustic) are played on LinnStrument. The piano (Pianoteq Steingraber) was played on a standard 88 key controller and the drums (BFD3) are played on a Zendrum. Stay safe out there!

Another great one, Jeremy! I also love how you play drums on Zendrum. I just searched and found a couple of YouTube videos of you playing Zendrum and I like watching your technique. It seems that its buttons are very sensitive to light touches.

Thanks, Roger!! The pads are very sensitive to the touch and when paired with a physical modeled drum plugin or one with multiple velocity layers it works well.
