The most overwhelming newsletters

I'm subscribed to a lot of newsletters from plugin and sample companies because I like to know what's going on in this business, but I feel some companies send way too many newsletters. It's not that I don't want to know about their new products, but do I really need an email every 2 days?

In all my newsletters subscriptions, the worst offenders are KontaktHub and Loopmasters. I like what both companies are doing, but the relentless amount of sales emails makes me wonder what is happening with these companies.

Worst, it counters the beneficial effect of a good sale (one that happens only once in a while). The sales aren't special anymore when you have a sale for any random reasons (i.e.: season sales, confinement sales, end of month sales, weekend sales, etc.).

1 email per week should be the maximum allowed for any commercial newsletters. The exception being newsletters with original contents in it (i.e.: a daily journal about the life of a professional musician, or useful hints and tips for better music production). But for commercial announcements, 1 per week is more than enough.

The general impression I get from the companies who send emails every 2 days is that their subscribers won't stay subscribed very long, so they want to pump the maximum amount of money out of them while they're subscribed.

The best move. Its their loss, not yours.
But make sure you give this feedback while unsubscribing, so they know why they lost a potential customer. If there is no such feedback mechanism, there's no helping the poor guys in their bad communications.

Agree with you guys, aggressive marketing is one of the main reasons people leaving a company.

Along with KontaktHub and Loopmasters I want to add Izotope and Waves.
