Oh! I am loving that! Fantastic Jeremy!

Post

Yes, another great one Jeremy. Love it all.

I had the thought that something interesting might be to do some remote collaborations with whoever on the forum might be interested in doing so. Maybe we could do some quartets, where someone starts with a simple track and sends it on, eventually to 3 others who do the other tracks. We could even do videos if everyone could make a video file as well. That would certainly qualify as appropriate social distancing! Anyway, just a thought.

Hope everyone's staying safe.

Good idea-- it would be especially nice in video, perhaps a 4-way split screen.

Thanks, Steve! I think a collaboration sounds like a great idea. Count me in!

I've been doing this with some of my colleagues, this past week, in an effort to be productive: mostly working remotely on material for clients and whatnot; which is often our process out of necessity anyway. Not all LinnStrument stuff mind you, but... We did do a shoddy video collaborative of a Kenny Rogers song just for fun though, when we heard about his passing. It's definitely a slow process, but it's not like we don't have time on our hands now.

Looking forward to seeing what you cats come up with...

Stay healthy, folks.

Cheers!

I’d love to be involved in something like! 😊

Great! I'll start another thread so folks who don't check this one regularly might see it.

Hi, I thought you might be interested to hear some Linnstrument production out in the wild:

A few weeks ago I was offered the opportunity to submit an intro for the FAZ science podcast (One of the biggest news networks in Germany). I wanted to make us of Linnstrument's unique capabilities, so I recorded a proposal with a slide over to resolve to the final chord. This would have been pretty much impossible with any other instrument! 😁

Then a few days ago I got the update that the first episodes are released … with my rough, yet-to-be-fleshed-out draft proposal 😅. I'm proud that they opted for my intro, but also a little embarrassed about the unfinished version they used. 😆

Here it goes: https://www.faz.net/podcasts/f-a-z-wiss ... 86196.html
Hope you enjoy!

Obligatory shameless plug:

Howdy! I just took delivery of LinnStrument 200 a couple of days ago...thanks to forum member tiantong! So in celebration of the new family member I’ve put together a quick video of a song I’ve been working on this week. I hope you all enjoy it!

Ghiekorg--Very nice composition and song! And always great video editing. I didn't know you played winds, which you do very well.

Fontaine--absolutely beautiful. I love your chord voicings, your ideas, your agility, and the sensitivity with which you play. It is videos like this that remind me why I make instruments. Thank you.

I thought we had an understanding that the Medusa would find its way into these jams...

Amazing playing as always, Mr. B. Despite the LinnStrument being designed as an expressive instrument, I always enjoy watching people play keys with it.

Cheers!
