Do different DAWs result in different sounding songs/music??

Workflow can affect creativity, but that’s all I’m willing to give it.

Unless we are talking about trackers: I’ve found their sample mixing to be questionable at times, but I have ZERO proof to explain what I’m perceiving.

A different workflow can invite different results, so yeah they do. Especially if you consider any piece of software that lets you construct a song a DAW.

I take it you're talking about the features and workflow of the DAW when you ask this question. In that case, yes, definitely. Some DAWs I've used have been so lacking in midi features that I just end up making more minimalist music in them. Workflow is everything and you need to find a program that suits yours!

sound is affected by vst plugins.

i have plugins that won't load in one daw but will in another.
reaper 6 is my primary daw and cubase le 5 is secondary.

I worked with several
Digital
Analog
Wormholes
and they all sound different when I throw a planet into it.
