Wow. It's been a long time since I've seen this level of obstinate stupidity. Try to keep in mind that the N-word is losing its shock value because it's being turned into a positive word and because the tide is slowly turning with regards to the issues surrounding it.

However, in the instances of your use of the words gay and homo, you are using a word that defines what people are and you are making it into a demeaning epithet. I had a christian friend who used the word gay a lot and never understood why I found it to be terribly insensitive. So I started to use the word 'christian' in the same way, with the same amount of scorn, as though being a christian were low, base, pathetic and disgusting. He stopped using gay.

I think I might start using American or Texan as a substitute for gay or homo... because, hey, if you're not an American or a Texan, then it's a valid insult, right?

As for the other issues that were brought up and hammered non-stop, what a joke. "You should get mad at Eric, too, for calling me an ass." and "This was between us so you should leave us alone." What kind of f**king christian-ass texan brings up moronic american points like these and expects to have them taken seriuously? Talking about missing the point.

At least when Michael, Janet Jackson or Madonna lip sync, you know they are proven singers, writers and performers. Usually what you get in lieu of the vocals is an elaborate performance and dance routine. I've never been a fan of this type of entertainment but many are I guess. This genre has been in decline starting probably with the Spice girls, Britney (at least they could dance and look hot, but no proven writing/singing) - on down and now the mutant child of this the Ashley Simpson/Avril Lavine types. The record companies motto is...you can fool most of the 13yr old girls most of the time...

That How-down was pretty difficult to pull off with live vocals don't you think?

If only you'd come in around page 3, I could have the last ten minutes back of my life instead of reading through msr. vandam's mix of brainless, posturing, bad-faith twaddle. The point is tony, while other racial slurs are losing their effect because people don't use them to mean something "weak, garbage, pathetic, etc." you're saying that you mean homo to mean exactly something that is "weak, garbage, pathetic, etc." You see the problem now? idiot.

Madonna? A PROVEN singer? Come on, you can't be freaking serious!
I've seen her last tour on video, some of the parts actually WERE sung live - never heard such a bad singing, she should indeed better go for 100% lip syncing instead of singing so bad even the (existing) hardware Autotune units couldn't do anything anymore.

I've no problems at all with Madonna, she's defenitely redefined the way of females in pop biz, she's also done some great creative work, but she's still one of the lousiest singers I've ever heard.

Okay she was weak in the singing dept, but you can't say she's wasn't a talented hard-working entertainer and songwriter in her prime. Bob Dylan couldn't sing either, doesn't make him an Ashley Simpson (Although his Son Jacob maybe...)

I was the same. I asked my friend from oregon and her reply was "she's one of the simpson sisters" and i was like...who? At least now i know, she's erm........uuuummmmm......one of the simpson sisters, that's her accolade
