That’s very sad... So many great memories of DAF and all the other great German - basically - bands of that time.
I guess those of us who were in Germany during the 80’s and who loved the music of that period are sadly witnessing the passing of an era. But it’s with great joy and respect that I think back to that time and the bands and musicians of that period... they leave behind a great legacy. At least there’s that...

sad, i heared DAF first time in 1984. daf was a main Inspiration for our first musicproject in that time.

I just found out about this. DAF's ultra minimal approach continues to be a big influence on my music. Very sad indeed.
