michal.ochedowski wrote: Wed Mar 25, 2020 8:50 am Question to developer of OB-Xd. Perhaps it would be possible for the synth to recognize standard MIDI Program Change Up/Down messages? It works flawlessly in Ichiro Toda's Synth1 and is a great time saver. This would make it possible to browse sounds in both VST2 and VST3 versions with less mouse clicks.
Okay, will add MIDI Program Change Up/Down to the todo list.

That's great!

By the way, is anyone else missing Bank number 11 in the original installation ? The numbers go from 001 to 021, with 011 omitted. I have no option to test Mac version. Perhaps it's different there.

Right, bank folder wasn't sorted properly on Windows.

I have updated Windows installer fixing this issue. Uninstall OB-Xd from your system and download and install the new one from https://www.discodsp.com/download/?id=3

Alternatively, you can download the sorted banks folder only at https://www.discodsp.net/presets/obxd_banks.zip and overwriting the old one.

Apologies about this inconvenience.

VSThost can load individual programs as well as saving banks easily. Pages 55 and 60 from PDF manual: https://www.hermannseib.com/documents/VSTHost.pdf

I know that because I managed to extract all fxp presets from OB-Xd banks.
Because I want to organize my own OB-Xd banks.
But is it possible to load ALL fxp presets in one click in VSThost, then save ALL that fxp's in one bank?
It seems to be not possible... I have to load ALL fxp's one by one.......
Please HELP

Looks like it's not possible to batch import FXP files in VSThost but there's a guide for that at viewtopic.php?p=3971661#p3971661 using another tool.
GMusic wrote: Tue Feb 09, 2010 1:06 am To create custom .FXB banks:

1) Organize the .FXP files into windows folders, naming them and grouping to your taste.

2) Download Minihost: http://www.phreque.com/tobybear/minihost.zip

3) Download a blank init .FXB bank: http://www.filedropper.com/init_11
(You can make your own if for some reason you don't want to download this. Open Sylenth, via the menu clear the current presets, then save the cleared bank as init.fxb)

4) Open Minihost, click VST, load Sylenth 1 .dll

5) Click presets, show preset manager.

6) Click load .FXB, load the blank init bank that you downloaded.

7) Click load .FXP. You can select any number of .fxp files (I precategorized them in regular window's folders, as mentioned earlier.)

8) Select all .FXP files to bank, then click Open. Then save bank as .fxb.

Note: if you have too many .FXP files to fit into one .FXB, just create a second bank for the ones that cannot fit into the first bank. For example, I have banks such as "Leads 1" "Leads 2" because not all of my lead presets could fit into one bank!

Tip: You can also use your DAW to organize the .FXP files, then drag and drop them onto Sylenth to load them (as opposed to loading .FXB). For example, in FL Studio, place the .FXP files in named, categorized folders in your browser directory. Load up Sylenth, and drag the .FXP file to the gray area around the Sylenth GUI. Or center click on your mouse.

Done :) Enjoy

Why do you need 64-bit in this case? Should work using 32-bit OB-Xd.

I believe those limitations are imposed by MIDI protocol.

When I open a bank, I'm always starting with the last preset of the bank... What can I do to start at the first preset?? :)
