To be honest things are getting more crazy. I can get a clear text display, however Waves plugins chop off on the 4k screen. Move across to the 1080 display all good.
Then today I tweaked a little more with the settings in the properties snapshot attached...lots of white space and unable to select things....the rabbit whole is getting longer.
Anyway, the monitors going back and I should have researched more. I wanted a 4K as thought it would be a good way forward. Great for videos (gaming also I guess), for daw and desktop work (outlook etc) no point.
Sway me otherwise, think Im going to get a regular HD 1080p dual setup.
Thanks for your help people. Maybe one day daws will be 4k ready with scaling and so on. Appears we are still waiting. Found an interesting thread I wish I found prior to buying.

Appears not all devs are there yet nor Cubase, one thread leaves the impressino Ableton appears to have it sorted. Not an avenue Im exploring.
