Hello,
Best regards,
GN
This is not technically possible, the App store does not offer this possibility. That is why the upgrade from Cubasis 1 to 2 was for free.revvy wrote: Wed Mar 25, 2020 2:07 pm You should offer upgrades from 2 to 3. I for one won't be buying the full app again.

You make a bundle with versions 2 & 3, and then the bundle can subtract the amount you paid for 2 from the cost of the bundle. Lots of developers have done thisGuillermo Navarrete wrote: Thu Mar 26, 2020 8:48 am Hello,

Hello,
"iOS App Bundles" allow to combine several apps to a single App Store product, where the actual app price already paid by a customer, is automatically deducted from the app bundle price.
As it is common practice for many iOS app vendors, Cubasis has been offered both at its regular price, and discounted for limited time periods.
Here, offering a Cubasis iOS App Bundle which grants a discount to customers, who have paid the regular Cubasis app price before, would turn out to be more expensive for customers having previously purchased Cubasis 2 at a discounted price, compared to purchasing the regular Cubasis 3 app.
Please note that the App Store is fully managed and maintained by Apple. All their services offered, are beyond our control and not in our hands.
As an industry leader, we strive to provide the best customer experience for those who purchase and use our products.
After careful evaluation, we come to the conclusion that offering an "iOS App Bundle" would only bring benefits for some customers, while causing significant disadvantages for others.
Ensuring a fair approach for all our customers, we've decided to offer Cubasis 3 at a discounted price during the Cubasis Sale which lasts from March 25 to April 8, 2020.

In this regard, we have received several user recommendations to release an "iOS App Bundle".zacha wrote: Thu Mar 26, 2020 8:51 amYou make a bundle with versions 2 & 3, and then the bundle can subtract the amount you paid for 2 from the cost of the bundle. Sure. But that means you could still offer an ongoing upgrade for people who have paid full price. And a sale now, when so many people are in sudden financial crisis around the world, doesn’t really do the job for most people

They gave us loads of free updates to cb2 and invested a load of money in Cubasis 3 it’s only fair they see some return on that

I recently purchased Cubasis 2 for its stability.
I think I will just stick with that for the foreseeable future and see what happens with Cubasis 3 as it matures.
I may buy in the future if they ever have a half-price sale.

I mean, I also invested a lot of money in CB2. And apart from iPhone compatibility, it still doesn’t have a lot on the similarly-priced Auria for those of us who don’t use Cubase on a computerBiancaNeve wrote: Thu Mar 26, 2020 5:27 pm They gave us loads of free updates to cb2 and invested a load of money in Cubasis 3 it’s only fair they see some return on that
