I tried it on my phone... not bad actually for such a small space. But still just too small a workspace. I'll give it a another go when I return home where my iPad Pro is.SLiC wrote: ↑Sat Apr 04, 2020 9:07 am
I asked for a PC version first
Seriously, this isn't just the best iOS music app, it could be one of the very best music apps period, so lets hope they find a way to go cross platform.
Sure, I could suggest a few improvements (song mode could use its own page for a better visual overview of song structure, unless I haven't come across this yet), but for the complexity of the thing it is incredibly well thought out, I was fully up and running making tracks before I had to RTM at all.
Anyway, great job and currently my iPAD is now being used in my studio again for duties other than a touch controller!
How do you use song mode?
Also, I put an FM Osc in and it triggers by note on. Then I added a Supersaw Osc and it just droned. I couldn't figure out how to make it also trigger by note on.

Song mode is basically the numbers at the top, press them and you can say number of times to play etc, standard stuff, build 1 pattern, copy to pattern 2 add variation, copy to 3....

Use a mixer f.e. if you want the same envelope trigger them both.

I just hope there will be a better way to import things. The iOS files app is a pain to use.

Hello!
I was wondering if it would be possible to use Drambo within Aum similar to how Stimming is using two Octatracks here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g4KpYhDGCmI
I have zero experience with an Octatrack, and frankly wouldn't have considered anything like this had it not been for reading an article comparing Drambo to the Octatrack and coming across that video on Youtube.

Drambo is also an AUv3 and you can run several instances inside AUM.perpetual3 wrote: ↑Mon Apr 06, 2020 3:00 am Hello!

It also will get multi-out in the future i think.

I need to compare the octatrack to Drambo more thoroughly.

Finally home and tried Drambo on the iPad Pro. So much nicer on the big screen compared to the phone... cool that it works on the phone, but not at all for me. On the larger iPad Pro it feels plenty spacious.
Is it possible to set individual track speed?

Somebody is collecting info on drambo on audiobus forum: https://wiki.audiob.us/beepstreet_drambo
Pretty deep modular. The author did mention that he is interested in making an OSX version. Pc I doubt it but I hope. No matter I use both platform.
The author also wants drambo to host AuV3 so that should be interesting.
Somebody in this thread mentioned the delay wasn't adequate or so. There is a delay rack module which also allows you to insert an fx in the feedback path. The fx can be another module or even a whole rack. This open up the possibilities. Even though signal goes from left to right in an instrument lane, the processing can be serial or parallel. When you look at it, it seems it is only serial but that's not the case.
