The noise section in MASSIVE X uses .wav-files! In the library of massive you will find a folder for wavetables (.mxwt-format) and in the noisetable folder there are only .wav-files. So these are samples ....

Is it ok to use the noise "oscillators" in massive x for noise, as long as it's not being abused (i.e. only using sounds from the "static" section)? Otherwise, that sounds overly restrictive.

Massive and serum do this also, so it's in good company.
