Batch join wav files?

Anyone know of a tool or an editor that can batch join many files? I don't mean mix them, join them, as in if i have 60 files they will play after each other in 1 wav file instead of 60.

There are online tools for this which is extremely convenient, unfortunately the ones i've run into converts my 24bit files to 16, which i don't want.

I have soundforge pro 13, but it doesnt seem to have this function.

You could add the files one after another in SF then render that as one file, but I don't know a batch processing option for it.

of course i can do that, but it needs to be a faster process than that.

its for my hardware sampler (bitbox), a way of making libraries of sounds.

I'm gonna do this perhaps 100 times (60 files at a time), so doing it manually is out of the question. I've done 5 libraries like you suggested, and i've had enough of that, it's kind of tiring when i know it can be done in like a second, only need the right tool for it.

looks like 10 files max, unless that has changed.. i read a few pages and couldn't find that it had though..

yeah i can most likely open them all at once in cubase and just render them again as 1 file... i've thought about that but i dont think its optimal sound wise, since there's a ton of things going on there..

it seems like i will be able to do it using the command prompt and the copy/b function. that will be more optimal since it won't affect the sound in any way, no conversion of any kind, anti-aliasing or volume or anything like that will be altered. It'll just combine them in a totally "raw" way.

Tested. converts 24bit to 16bit so not usable unfortunately. Thanks though.

if you dont add any fx, there shoukd be nothing going on. cubase shouldnt add any difference if you just open the files and render.

You might be right about that, i guess its really no different than importing them into Soundforge.. I think it's the easiest solution for now. Thanks.

it installed 4 additional programs that i couldn't declick during the install + the program itself is reported as a trojan by windows security... i know there are false positives but why would the .exe the program uses be called h0.exe and be in a completely different folder.. no, that does not seem right at all. be very careful with downloading this program.

Oh, and it directly said it was outdated and wanted to update, i did that and another additional program (a searchbar) was installed.. these are usually hard to uninstall.. probably gonna get problems from this (and yes i can only blame myself for trusting random people on the internet )
