Excellent stuff. Reminds me a little of Simon and Garfunkel and a little of Beck. I'd personally prefer it if it could reach a bit more of an intense crescendo, however it works very well as it is. The production is just fine to my ears.

Music with dinner is an insult both to the cook and the violinist.

Good tune, great guitar riff, beautifully recorded and a good voice. IMO it needs a chorus of some sort.
but amazing stuff so far...

You'll get to hear the kids' songs! I haven't finished anything but you can hear a crappy preview here. It's based on the true story of two mentally handicapped men who had the same verbal exchange every day in the van on the way home. I figured it was a perfect topic inappropriate for kids. The lyrics are pretty much verbatim the dialogue they would have.glurgle wrote:A really smooth track. (btw, would love to hear those kids songs)
Wow, that's a fine compliment for a Cake afficianado like me!bluedad wrote:this fit in right nicely after listening to a bit of cake.
Thanks. I really have to put more effort into finishing the stuff I start, but I've been pretty inspired lately so maybe you'll get to hear more from me.Glassback wrote:Great stuff. More!!!!
I will! I will!griels wrote:But make it longer goddamit!

Yeah, there will be at least one more different part in the song. I don't know which would be the chorus, or if either of them would be chorus... I guess it will depend on how catchy I can make it!Glooper wrote:Good tune, great guitar riff, beautifully recorded and a good voice. IMO it needs a chorus of some sort.

Perdon, pero no. Lo siento. No hablo español. I wish. All I know is what the strippers in Mexico taught me, and I highly doubt that you want me to say to you, "Yo quiero tu culo."sailorboy wrote:hey pough, do you speak spañol?
It reminds me of movie music, too. My friend says it reminds him of "Out of Sight."
