Tuning wise, pairing the kalimba and guitar together
is about as good a match as my singing a duet with Beyonce...
(and trust me, that would be way too much information :scared: )

Might need to replace that kalimba, a sampled Reaktor ensemble
would be a step up (tuning wise) :dog:

( edit: Kalimba 2 from the ST3 Ethnic category is
much easier on the ears when blended with guitar,
vibes, keys etc)

But overall, I think this free shop version will be well received,
and hopefully the shop will work flawlessly. With a long 'spring break'
ahead for a lot of parents, this could help stem the tide
if some wrestless bordom creeps in. Will it will be bundled
as a download with all your keyboards going forward?
Cheers

The graphic for the 'soul singers'. :dog: The voices are nice,
but the art is not exactly striking a new high for diversity

Maybe re-name it North Dakota Baptist Choir

Dante Bowe is my favorite soul singer,
He might be persuaded to let you use
his likeness...

(yeah, yeah, even us longterm IK fanbois can nitpik :hihi: )

dmbaer wrote: Sat Mar 14, 2020 9:25 pm Let me see if I've got this right. I downloaded and installed the latest fulll ST (I've got a MAX license). There was no editor at the end of that process. So, I downloaded from the ST CS link and got a file SampleTank_4_1_0.zip which contains a single install exe. I don't need ST CS, but if I want the editor I need to run this install. Is that all correct?

Thanks.
The editor is a separate download and install. It should be in your user area along with a serial number.
Unfortunately it does not appear to be there. I see ST 4 CS and ST 4 MAX, but there's no ST Editor to be found. My ST 4 MAX license was an NFR review copy. Maybe that has something to do with the omission.

I think that only users who have purchased an ST4 licence get the Sample Editor.
DarkStar, ... Interesting, if true

I read more than post = I listen more than I talk

Finally we get a sample import editor so i can truly start to use ST4 as a one stop shop workstation

Peter, what are the future plans for the sample editor? Will this be continued to be included in the paid versions of ST, will this be free for all users, or a seperate product that must be purchased?

While my crystal ball might need a little polishing, at this time we intend to keep the SampleTank 4 Editor as it is - free for people who have a non-free SampleTank 4 version and also a non-supported tool (any questions would need to be answered via the manual or with user-to-user discussion in the SampleTank 4 Editor subforum).

Great job setting the effects on the piano 8) :hyper:
Cinematic, but not over-the-top, and a very nice mix, as well.
Luca has those long bony Rudess fingers in fine working order.

But hopefully not transplanted from Jordan himself :scared:

^ that's indeed a possibility from what I saw! :o

What an amazing performance! I am awed. Loved watching it. The sounds are excellent too. Great job, IK. :tu:

Thanks, we really love Luca's work and talent. He's done some other videos for us and will certainly continue to do more in the future. I like this one for SampleTank 4:
