Tension Builder is a new patch library for Spectrasonics Omnisphere 2 that will help you build some serious tension in your music. The library contains 252 patches, 25 multis, and 167 original soundsources. If you're looking for a new and unique collection of dark and intense cinematic sounds to add to your music writing tool set, then this library will be right for you.

With each patch in Tension Builder , you control the tension/intensity of the sound via the mod wheel. Sometimes that tension is subtle, and sometimes it is quite extreme.

The patches are split between 152 soundscapes and 100 BPM patches. Each of the soundscape patches can be transformed into a rhythmic/pulsing patch via User CC (a user-defined mod source easily set up on Omnisphere's system page). For the BPM patches, User CC is used to dial in additional sound layering and FX. The pitch wheel is often mapped to alternate functions for many of the soundscape and BPM patches to give you more sound variations.

The 167 original soundsources were specially crafted for the library, and they make great building blocks for creating your own tense patches.

The library requires Omnisphere 2.6
