Software for recording and editing samples

Hi there,

in the past i've made some virtual latin percussion instrumens from samples (click on the link in my signature if you're interested).
The instrument on which I am working currently made a lot of problems and effort when editing the samples (trimming, etc.) with my DAW, so I decided to develop a dedicated software to record and edit samples for multi-sample instruments with some automated processes ...and no need to use a DAW or other audio editors.
For my needs it makes work a lot easier, so I thought it may be of interest to someone of you who is also involed in developing sampled virtual instruments.... (and yes, maybe I can release and even sell it in the future, who knows).
