Favorite synth for acid sounds that is NOT a hardware emulation commonly associated with acid sounds?

Dune 2/3 has an awesome preset I use pretty much every time
Serum has an entire "Blade" preset, which does the awesome. I've also had success with Massive X and it's phase-mod acid.
Any resonant sound can be turned into hard acid with Devastor 2 FX.

(Edit: just seen the OP's sentence about not wanting direct softwarw emulations - such as my original suggestion ABL3, which is of course an extremely solid effort for acid sounds).
But if I didn't have ABL3 (or indeed a hardware Abstrakt Instruments Avalon) then I would use Sylenth.
I quite fancy my chances on Synthmaster for acid as well, mind you.

Very surprised that ABL3 hasn't been mentioned yet.[/quote]
Because its a hardware based emulation is the reason why it isnt mentioned
read again what topic creator have requested (also the topic name already suggest that );)

^^ yeah, I was just amending / editing my post when you replied
Sylenth for me.
Failing that, Synthmaster.

I really should take Synthmaster for a new spin anyway: it's always sounded lovely for my favourite ambient style of sounds, but I forget how versatile and capable it is. Great synth

P900 first...
....then Sunrizer, Dagger and Drambo (yes, all from the great Beepstreet, i love his synths).
But still the tiny iOS app Pure Acid is the best for me when it comes to "classic" acid 303. But then i mostly prefer more raw and aggressive kind of acid sounds a 303 can´t do. Because of that i choose P900 which is not as great for these smooth slopes but it just screams so nice when you crank the SVF nearly to 100% resonance and still not loose much of the low end.
