Demoing this now and its so good! Both sound and usability is exceptional (okay, the negative space is a bit funky, but whatever).
Seems extremely underrated, never heard about it until today. Why aren't everyone talking about this lol

I like to think that there are products out there that people just use instead of talking about them endlessly on forums. Xenoverb is a fantastic reverb, hugely versatile, and should be way more expensive than it is, never mind the sale. One of my favorite plugins from one of my favorite devs.cantaloupe wrote: Wed Apr 15, 2020 9:44 pm Demoing this now and its so good! Keeping this thread going. Luca did a marvelous job in this and right now it is by far my favorite native reverb. It covers the staples so well. The plates are amazing, really sweet spring reverb, incredible room, and really beautiful halls. The shimmery reverbs and feedback loops are also a huge bonus for those long reverbs and creative effects. I also personally love the GUI.
On design, I think the freeze and limiter functions are really, really useful features not just gimmicks. I have the limiter permanently engaged. It helps the reverb punch through and freeze is "cool" (pun intended) for feedback loops.
I think you'd be hard pressed to be critical of such a well-designed, great sounding plugin. Bravo, Luca!

I've had this on my list to get for the longest time. With all the updates it was climbing that list. I didn't NEED another reverb, but between always wanting it and the sale, it was an easy purchase, and adds a few more reverb types I didn't easily have on tap.
Very nice plugin, as expected.

The best thing about this reverb is it has every reverb type you could ever need along with a few experimental ones that are worth the price of admission itself.
This has become my go to verb especially for quick sketching.
Only thing i would like to see different for a Xenoverb 2 is a different GUI. Maybe have each algo look like a different pedal with a different design to really give how unique each algo is justice.
A LoFi alfo similar to MiniVerb would be cool.
Along with a built in ducker or eq would make it a true one stop shop

Awesome feature. Automating the footswitch before the next note hits prevents buildup that can cause muddiness.Audiority wrote: Wed Apr 15, 2020 2:41 pm Thanks! I have forgot to mention that now the tail is cleared even if you use the Activate footswitch, so you can automate the tail cuts.
I'm experiencing two issues though. One, choosing the algorithm from the menu does not always change the algorithm even though it seems to register the mouse click as the drop-down menu disappears.
Two, the value display while moving knobs flickers, showing the new value momentarily, but disappears almost immediately.
If you would like video of either or both of these issues let me know.
This is one of my favorite multi-reverbs regardless. It spans from standard algorithms to interesting ones like the bloom, glass, and bode. I'm really digging glass in particular, so much clarity on synths. Xenoverb is the best bang-for-buck in a very cluttered field since it was launched. As a long-time owner I am very pleased with the updates it has been receiving.

Agree. It's amazing to have all the reverbs you need at your fingertips. I'm slowly phasing out a lot of other verbs that I delegated for specific purposes but didn't sound as good.
For what it's worth, I really dig the look and feel of the GUI. The color for me is soothing and I think it looks classy. Makes me want to dig in and experiment with it even more. I guess to each his own but hope the current gui is always an option.

<EDIT> -this seems to be an interaction between Xenoverb and Unify which I am using. if I add as an inset in cubase - I don't get the abrupt end to tails on playing next note - add Xenoverb as a master effect in Unify and I get the abrupt ending to tails. Any ideas please ?
first of fantastic reverb thankyou
Is there a bug in latest 1.2 version or has it always been like this ?
trying some of the shimmer reverb presets - play a note and let go - let it start to decay press another note softly (doesn't matter how hard just softly makes it more obvious) and the reverb tail of the last note stops really abruptly and it doesn't sound right at all ? just tried some other reverbs as comparison and as expected they merge the last tail into the next note etc. hadn't noticed this before on Xenoverb but can't be sure it wasn't in 1.1 also
many thanks

Same for The Abuser. Thought something is wrong on my sideyellowmix wrote: Wed Apr 22, 2020 4:00 am One, choosing the algorithm from the menu does not always change the algorithm even though it seems to register the mouse click as the drop-down menu disappears.

@Buckster does this happens only with Unify or with other hosts too?
@yellowmix @Jopmanajop I'll check that. Does this happens in a specific moment (daw stopped, or while playing and so on)
Thanks,
Luca

Both situations actually, not something specific, it happens randomly for me. Not that bad with Xenoverb, but with The Abuser it's every timeAudiority wrote: Wed Apr 22, 2020 12:11 pm Does this happens in a specific moment (daw stopped, or while playing and so on)
