Yeah they did announce updates some years ago. I remember that.zvenx wrote: Thu Apr 16, 2020 1:36 pmI believe they did for yearsForgotten wrote: Thu Apr 16, 2020 1:19 pm I'm glad they updated them, but why couldn't they have just said "development is in progress" at some point rather than keep so quiet about it?
Anyway, will update tonight as this is really good news.
At some point some of us stopped believing it would ever happen.

"Some features widely requested by users will be added to the KORG Collection in future updates. We plan to support AAX format and refine the user interface on a large-scale among other improvements but until then we hope you love all the new features so far and enjoy making music with the KORG Collection of synthesizers offered by KORG."

Finally commited to the Triton, just to get the Collection GUI upgrade. Going through the presets all seemed well, until I opened the preset "LifeSigns EP". It clicks and pops badly, even without playing anything, I even cleared all the samples so it's just blank and it still clicks. Processor is only at 15%, so I don't think it's my system, and I can't find any other presets that do the same. It's not a big issue, as I don't especially need to use that preset, but it seems strange. Anyone else experiencing similar issues?

Ok thanks. I don't really know what Korg SW pass is, something like NI Native Access..?WasteLand wrote: Thu Apr 16, 2020 1:57 pmbefore it was challenge and response, but never worked (in my case). i have the special bundle (upgrade from legacy collection), copy & paste the license in the installers worked. only one installer did you have to enter the license. all the others recognized it.revvy wrote: Thu Apr 16, 2020 1:40 pm What's the copy protection? something like that, it links to your account, so it knows you have and don't have, it recognizes for instance that i haven't got the triton, and the other synths gives a update or installed message. native access works better, because sometimes korg software pass, decides it can't download or update. but i have all the new versions, accept triton... because i never owned it.revvy wrote: Thu Apr 16, 2020 2:46 pmOk thanks. Some of mine were listed in the Software Pass as demo, some upgrade and some full install, but I just downloaded them regardless and they all installed the same.LoveEnigma18 wrote: Thu Apr 16, 2020 2:51 pmWelcome to the boat, you are not alone.the-machine wrote: Thu Apr 16, 2020 2:49 pm I have installed the Korg pass, but i only see Triton as demo available, am i the only one who doesnt see other demo products?

It has the Analog record FX on, sort of simulates an LP record noise so it's normal.

I'm wrestling with the Korg app trying to get the MS-20 MK 2 update. Does anyone know if this version supports their older Legacy scaled hardware controller? Its I have one of those and I do use it.

Glad to see resizable guis now. I do wish the monopoly knobs were still flat and not angled now. And I was hoping that the M1 and wavestation would get GUIs more like the iOS apps, but oh well at least they big now. And for MS-20 users that's a nice new GUI, no more scrolling! I don't particularly like the MS-20 though so no biggie for me. Can't be bothered when I have Diva and The Drop.

I was going to say it sounds a bit like an LP noise.
Thanks for checking, puts my mind at ease.

Yes... Korg who is just killing it with their hardware make you jump though hoops on the software side of things. Typical copy and paste answer ... no thought... no care.Vortifex wrote: Thu Apr 16, 2020 4:05 pm Korg's customer service don't appear to be able to read:
Korg: Thank you for contacting Korg USA Product Support. The Korg Pass App is not for just the Triton VST. Please install the Korg Pass App and you will see the other Korg Collection apps that you own/registered. Please click on “Update” for each app and run the upgrade file that is in the folder to install the update.
