Good luck with all that. But remember that when you defend someone that burns people, you are also contributing to the next burning. You are not an honest bystander in all of this, you have taken sides and continue to try to muddy the waters.

Still, you strike me as a reasonable person who seems to lack some perspective on their actions. This "warning everyone here" that you are doing repeatedly is not normal for someone who is not emotionally invested.

There could be sock puppet accounts. It's plausible. But I don't make public claims like that without more proof than you've offered. What scant evidence you've provided is not proof. Analog Obsession has over 150 patrons on Patreon. It's equally plausible that some of these patrons are lurkers on KVR and chimed in here. Again, if these were sock puppets, should be easy enough for the mods to determine and take appropriate action. That they haven't suggests to me that these are not clearly identifiable as sock puppets behind the moderator interface ... or nobody has taken the time to look.

I've offered my opinion. You think there are a bunch of children on this forum who can't form their own opinions? Muddied the waters, say what? Who is it you claim is being burned? You really do appear to have some sort of messiah complex. Can't help you with that. Honestly, I'm more interested in the following audio-related aspects of the discussion, so I'll leave this friendly disagreement here before it turns unfriendly. Feel free to get in the last word.

The EQ part of his stuff seems to be legit.they have a phase response i'd kind of expect from outboard EQ's,but the input stages e.g transformers,line amps stuff like that,it sounds and looks like just clipping to me(not even oversampled or his oversampling is broken).don't hear any impedance type effects as is what you'd expect from the stuff he modelled.they are all relatively linear and don't seem to tip the harmonics with the EQ adjustments.the EQ adjustments (lets call it first harmonic) and the rest of the series follow suit which is what you would expect from a typical digital soft/hard clipper.even op amps and transistors do screwy things to the added harmonics at certain frequencies when you start deviating away from a linear spectrum

Myself, I'm more interested in the spice-to-vst conversion, and would like to hear more.

people have been banned in this thread...not because of their comments but because they create different accounts to respond...I cant help but notice you just signed up to join this thread....and you sign in under a proxy...

If someone signs up under a proxy the Mods can't match the IP address to that of an existing member (like Tunca) and ban both accounts. Is it proof of sock puppets? Not definitive proof but it is suspicious.

Like I said go back and research the whole AO story. Your loyalty is admirable but misplaced in my opinion.

But you finally admitted your error and had a fresh start.
What could have been considered as a mistake will now be considered forever as compulsive lying.
Why don't you simply tell now that you're Analog Obsession and you don't want this awful promotion for your new career ??? I seriously doubt it though, have you observed Tunca's posts from the beginning up until this point? His English is rather raw and unpolished and his grammar and punctuation is... Well, unorthodox, to say the least. Did he suddenly learn to phrase things like a regular American overnight now? I mean, of course, it could be theatrics or a personality disorder but I really doubt it. One could've never foreseen all this drama and intentionally been speaking erroneous English even in professional product reveals right from the start...

Not all. Some of the 32 bit versions before everything was moved to Patreon were apparently infected as a result of a website attack.

No. I downloaded only the 64 bit plugins and got malware warnings as soon as I unzipped them. I didn't download any of the 32 bit plugins but still had to spend the next 24 hours cleaning malware from my system.

Unzipping malware doesn't install them on your computer. In fact, it seems your AV detected it on time. How can you be sure all the malware you've found wasn't already there before unzipping those plugins?

It seems there are a few groups of "angry mobs" here.

1. Those who were early adopters and paid for the plugins.
2. Plugin developers that see these FREE high quality plugins as a threat to their business.
3. Those who join in with the "mob mentality".

1. The early adopters were the support that helped AO continue developing plugins today.
2. The plugin developers are already hurting from companies selling for $29, now FREE?
3. Everyone has a subjective opinion to add, just like this one.

Possible solution:

Create a limited line of plugins just for your Pateron and early customers.
