A lot of people like the nostalgic sound, me included. Some people just don't get it. Now if only I can get Polysix and Mono/Poly to install properly...
I wonder what happens if I press this button...

Not sure if you misunderstood my post? I was supporting the idea of nostalgia and writing against dude who came into the thread just to troll the folks like you and me who are interested in this SW.ramseysounds wrote: Fri Apr 17, 2020 7:18 amA lot of people like the nostalgic sound, me included. Wavestation also crashes when I try to edit deeper, e.g. switching waves.

many different experiences. i see. as a long time use, or a long time, of the korg collection i always find them sound great, and i have automap, so i didn't have to look at the tiny GUI's.. but still you look at the GUI, preset saving was always PITA, o well, if are used to it, it worked fine, and my presets are save on a other drive.
but still i like the updates, but the ms-20, those small letters, didn't try in my main studio yet, with 3 screens, different resolutions, especially for small GUI stuff (and big, works also...), and cheap second hand, only the main monitor is 1920x1080, and ips.. and not second hand..
even with automap or another system, you look at the gui, for the possibilities, and not all is exposed to the host. the scrolling in ms-20.. gone! yeah.
i have used them a lot. they are old, i can't compare them, but for me they work great. personal, maybe also my style of working. don't use presets (factory or third party).
by the way all the new presets, where already there, in korg id account. they added them now.
EDIT: i installed them only on my laptop. my main studio, of course they will be updated, after i rendered a basic project, with a polysix. that i want to use as basis for a song. and my back is killing me so, can't sit well, haha. o well.
EDIT 2: i am suprised, but perhaps i could expect it, that they are now more popular.
EDIT 3: my main stuff is ms-20, polysix, monopoly, and when the arp came, the arp too.
i like them!!

Easiest Way is to download empty bank. The collection here also contains one. http://www.korgforums.com/forum/phpBB2/ ... hp?t=15723
In previous versions there was also an empty bank in Korg directory but can't find it in this new one.
Anyone looking for manuals they are here: https://support.korguser.net/hc/en-us/a ... DF-Manuals
Manuals are not updated for the new GUI.

I have checked MonoPoly, Wavestation, M1 and MS-20 (haven't the time to check the others) in Bitwig 3 in Windows 10. I have zero problems. Everything is working greatmholloway wrote: Fri Apr 17, 2020 5:38 am Okay, now the Wavestation is crashing my DAW (live) when I click the 'search' button, just like how clicking the program manager button in MonoPoly crashes it every time. Clicking 'waveseq' also crashes the whole DAW. wtf.
These things are unusable for me in their current state and need fixes asap.
Using: Cubase Pro 15, Reason 13, Tascam US-4x4HR, MODX6, DM12D, LaunchKey 49, Yamaha guitar(Pacifica 612v) and bass (BB234) and some virtual instruments and synths.

Finally the Korg legacy bundle became useful for me. So far I only tested in FL Studio and all Korg plugs seems to be working fine. I didn't test them in Studio One, Cubase or Reason yet. I am on Windows.
Win 10 -64bit, CPU i7-7700K, 32Gb, Focusrite 2i2, FL-studio 20, Studio One 4, Reason 10

Thanks re the update.
By the way, this new version of KSP still moves the whole of C:\Users\name\AppData\Local\temp into the Recycle Bin which can breaks things in Windows 10.
Does anyone know the email address for Korg support? Can't find it thanks.
