Hi folks, hope everyone is well
Don't know where else to post, but I'm having trouble figuring out ;
Trying to import my old 'Sampletron' instruments into Sampletank 4.
I've pointed the 'Sound Content' page to the correct file path.
can't see any 'Import instrument' options at all, only 'import samples'.
I'm pretty sure I did this years ago and it worked easy
Thanks for your help in advance

Here's the free version of ST3 that can import the older libraries.

I wasn't thinking I'd get a reply on the IK forum (having waited 3 weeks on the Steinberg forums ha) but actually they were great.DarkStar wrote: Fri Apr 17, 2020 12:13 pm Here's another IK forum link:

Esteemed members,
I'm in the same situation as hotmitts, but I can't find Sample Tank 3 Custom Shop anywhere: it appears IK has taken down the download links of their pages. Any suggestions? Can anyone direct me to a mirror where the old ST3 CS installer can still be found?

Even if you could find a download link for the installer, it would do you no good without a serial number. I think your best bet is to contact IK and ask if they will add it to your account. Good luck!ivoschon wrote: Tue Nov 17, 2020 1:36 am Esteemed members,

After minimal back and forth by email, IK added ST3 Custom Shop to "My Products" and supplied a serial number. Everything works. Here's hoping these posts will help someone else in the future.

Ugh, I have been a ST user for about 20 years now. I used 2 a TON. I have the SampleMoog and SampleTron libraries and can't find a way to get them into ST4.
I know you can import them into ST3, and then ST4 will read the .st3i format, but I can't install ST3 or the sound files on Big Sur.
Has anyone in my position had success getting these libraries into ST4?
Best

It's a bit of a hassle, but perhaps you could use another computer or a virtual machine to do the importing and converting. Then copy the ST3 library to your computer and add the path in ST4.art&sound wrote: Tue Mar 02, 2021 5:41 pm Ugh, I have been a ST user for about 20 years now. I used 2 a TON.
