Hi everyone!
I am getting a microKORG!
I had a few piano lessons and watched a couple of video tutorials how to play this and that.
My question is:
Is there a a certain keyword or a certain source to look for "piano" lessons, which are dedicated to small keyboards?
The microKorg has only 37 keys, instead of the 88 keys of the traditional piano.
I found this video particularly interesting:
By chance, does anybody know the first song played?
Thanks in advance

Unless you are never going to return to a full sized keyboard, it might not be beneficial to try to learn anything other than simpler styles on a mini keyboard. If you want to learn to play better, can you connect a keyboard with full sized keys to this and learn on that?
I can play piano, but the smaller keys on my Arturia Keystep are really difficult to play on in comparison. I have other keyboards with full sized keys and use them to play anything beyond simpler monophonic stuff.

Sounds like just a standard 70's funk-ish riff.
By the way Captain, those keys are full-sized - just wait for the lysergic acid to wear off, you'll see.

Thanks for the replies !!!
Unfortunatelly, my budget is so small i had to sell my old 49 keys keyboard to buy food ...
I took piano lessons before, and I'm planning on continuing so maybe even on a real E-Piano when times will change for the better ...
F***ing Corona almost made me care about my shi*ty boss somewhat cheating me with money ...
Watching a sheep in the countryside making the famous sheep sound "Maeeeeeeeeeuüp" gave me the much needed clear-sightedness to understand that it is a sin to go blind trough paradise... I then quickly realized that I must to give a **** about money and my boss and that the only sane way to deal with insane people is to invest your last cash into a microkorg...
I've found a nice musician who was willing to contribute his microkorg to a fellow brother for 200€ (about 240$ est.)
I've sent the monay today.
Can't wait for the moments of pleasure it will arrive.
My equipment:
- Low budget refurbed Laptop
- Low budget DJ Mixer
- Guitar Interface with 2 inputs
- 2 nice and medium budget E-Guitars
- Well known guitar skills
- bloody beginner amatuer Keyboard / Piano and Ableton skills
My phantasies are going crazy wild on thinking how I could jam with my negligible equipment....
I thought of making mixes with my DJ mixer ...
Track 1 = various drum loops mixed
Track 2 = various bass / key loops mixed
Track 3 = Me jamming with my microkorg
Track 4 = Want to play more? Insert coins
What do you think of these ideas?
As always, any input is highly appreciated!
Have a nice day everybody

In these hard and gloomy times I'm doing the best I can to avoid the situation that the lysergic acid will wear off by all means.Winstontaneous wrote: Fri Apr 17, 2020 8:36 pm Sounds like just a standard 70's funk-ish riff.
