I wish they'd included a can of foam clean and a duster for the Monopoly though

right on . i should have started my post with IIRCwhyterabbyt wrote: Fri Apr 17, 2020 4:29 pmerm, no, not quite.djboomstick wrote: Fri Apr 17, 2020 4:24 pm migration is something that happened several years ago when korg got rid of the dongle requirement
They got rid of the dongle around 2009 and it became serial-number based registration at Korg User Net. Then in 2017 they changed it from Korg User Net to Korg ID. And now they've changed it to Software Pass and Korg ID.
The 'migration' was Korg User Net to Korg ID.
still convoluted , especially if some one haden't migrated til now , or thinks they have to still migrate as a new user , and better than korg just dropping the product support altogether

Also it took me ages to find the presets. Turns out they're in the 32-bit installation
Local Disk: Program Files (x86) / KORG / KORG Legacy / Presets

• MonoPoly -- clicking the 'program browser' button immediately crashes the DAW.
• Wavestation -- clicking the 'search' button immediately crashes the DAW.
same here with wavestation and monopoly under hostingAU under hisierra
i sent them crashreports/crashlogs
no idea if they received it - stupid "new password" "new login" new korguser.net nonsense
no problems in logicX though as far as i can see

with some nervousness and anticipating something/anything going wrong on this whole install, nothing did.
Very nice to see them open up large finally. I think a lot of folks will be happy. I think it was last Sunday I had fired up the old MS-20 and chuckled how small it was. Thanks for the free update Korg, nice job.

Just to be clear on my end, the crashes happen with both AU and VST plugins.muki wrote: Fri Apr 17, 2020 7:22 pm

Hmm. At least at Win10 no such horror here, had been check all described moments (incl deep torment of WaveStation settings \ patch editing) no any crash. S1

On Win 10 here.
Many crashes in both Cakewalk and Cubase.
Especially when loading multiple track/instances of just the Korg collection.
And like others have implied, Polysix is blacklisted under Cubase.
Still looking forward to when they do one of their 50% off sales. Unless that's a thing of the past with their "new" thinking.
Hopefully that will give them more time to work out the bugs.

Win 7 Pro here, and I can say the same. Polysix blacklisted, but activated manually. Everythig is fine, so far. Older projects opened without any problem.ramseysounds wrote: Fri Apr 17, 2020 10:17 pmW10 and Cubase here but no crashes yet, touch wood. polysix was blacklisted but reactivated easily enough

In Triton on Win10, Arpeggiator B (in Combi mode) has a problem with the dropdowns for Octave and Resolution. The lists are displayed in the wrong font size and do not respond to selection. This happens in both Waveform 11 and Live 10 when hi-res is used (which is necessary for me as these GUI's are blurry otherwise).
