Hopefully an easy question for someone. I am trying to create a sequence that modulates the filter cutoff. I can do it easily with just the step sequencer, but I want a much more staccato effect and just using the step sequencer doesn't give me the result so I thought I would use a combination of gate sequencer, step sequencer and adsr - that may well be overkill. See the image

Can't you use Google Drive links as images?
I am trying to use the step sequence to change the Amplitude of the adsr, and the gate sequencer to trigger the adsr, which, in turn, triggers the filter cutoff to be modulated.
I can see the adsr being triggered from the gate sequencer and I can see it's amplitude being modulated by the step sequencer, but the filter cutoff isn't being modulated at all.
Any ideas what I am doing wrong?
Cheers
EDIT : It seems to work fine with the AD, just not the ADSR. Is that a bug?

Little experiment with four instances of Lion, and one instance of Byome. All the sounds here are made with Lion, with the exception of the drums. Really falling in love with this synth, the more I use it.

There's so much to explore even with just the mixer section. The Terrain algorithm in particular is so deep, especially when paired with the harmonic or supersine oscs.

Has there been any update / conclusion on the envelopes in Lion? They're pretty sluggish (as talked about back on page 51). I really like the oscillators in this thing but I love to make pluck sounds and that just isn't happening with these envelopes...

Feature request: MSEGsthelizard wrote: Wed Mar 11, 2020 9:13 pm Also, a quick request to anyone with bug reports: Please send them through Plugin Alliance's support form. They keep each report tagged for us. It's really hard for me to stay on top of reports on KVR, Twitter, Facebook, etc. due to the volume of posts and overall distraction-heavy nature of each of those sources. During my work day, I have the bug tracker on one half of my screen, and the code on the other.
If less is more, imagine how much more MORE will be.

Can anyone tell me how I can assign/learn MIDI CC within Lion so I can control some of the parameters with my Midi controller knobs and sliders? Every synth I can think of, you just right click and there is the ability to set it or have it listen for your controller. I can't find this anywhere in Lion.

You have to use macros. Macro knobs are the only parameters exposed.BassMasterK wrote: Mon May 11, 2020 12:55 am Can anyone tell me how I can assign/learn MIDI CC within Lion so I can control some of the parameters with my Midi controller knobs and sliders? there are more parameters exposed to the host. but they change of course, parameter name, and function. but this what vst plugin exposes to the host. via the host, depending on the host, you can control more. and depending on the controller. but mainly the oscilators, the filter, the mix, and output stage can be controlled via host (automap). the effects can be controlled ad hoc. but not within a mapping.mschenkel wrote: Mon May 11, 2020 6:36 amYou have to use macros. but if you only do midi CC, then macro knobs.

Thank you both for the replies. I didn't try that, but will. I have to say, this synth is super aggressive with some very interesting waveforms, yet it can totally be toned down. I like the sounds I'm getting out of it. Yes, it would be nice to have a better selection of presets to get an idea of the possibilities, but as someone who likes to do most of their own sound design, I'm happy with this purchse.

Please don‘t, you get those sounds out of any synth we have too many of already...DJErmac wrote: Mon May 11, 2020 2:12 am Feature request : new presets that sound like something we would really want to use on this planet.![]()

I'm not saying they should make the same sounds as everywhere, I'm just saying I have the feeling that 95% of the presets go "biup biup biup" "wup wup wup" "ziub ziub ziub". What are you going to do with this ? A Goldorak soundtrack ?Tj Shredder wrote: Tue May 12, 2020 1:00 pmPlease don‘t, you get those sounds out of any synth we have too many of already...DJErmac wrote: Mon May 11, 2020 2:12 am Feature request : new presets that sound like something we would really want to use on this planet.![]()

Did the PA version of this ever get patched? I've heard it's a buggy mess otherwise.
Wondering because they are offering it as a 48 Hour Flash Sale (at $49.99, or around $25 with the monthly Loyalty Voucher applied as well), and I'm considering it.
