Hi all

here is my contribution to the luney tunes

Hope this link works as its the first time I am using Wusik.com :-)

Moon Luney

http://www.wusik.com/song.php?id=183

Cameleon
M42 Nebula
White Noise Additive
mellatron samples
Stratablaster beta
VSC5 ( space mods)
MP7 Ethnic percussion
Yamaha DD5 drum controller played live
Space guitar processed with Receptor ( Steve Hillage patch)
EVE with MiniMoog Bass.

Had lots of fun. It sorta turned into a prog rock/ Ozric thing then an ambient thing, but I like it. Now I'm ready for that Eclipse!

Nice work Tim, I really enjoyed this. Great bassline and the guitar is outstanding. It really sounds like you had a ball making this.

Great tune Tim, love the guitar playing, you make me want to give up playing all together  Wish it was a little longer. Will be playing this many times in the next couple of days, very inspirational. Thanks. 8)

Very nice! You should apply for a job with the Ozrics- They're having some personnel problems and could use a hand with their current tour.

David

PS- Thank you for your creations!

Yeah..I actually had fun..especially playing "real" drums WITH STICKS..that is Pads..and the sounds are coming from the DD5 itself..I just processed them a bit.No Quantising, so they might be off at times..but thats the human touch. Also playing guitar again. Receptor is actually an excellent guitar processor.

Sereous? That would be great! But might be too much time away from home. What kind of problems are they having? ( open can of worms I am sure)

Thanks for the responses so far. Hope to hear some more luny tunes from you guys

It IS a bit of a worm-can. They recently dispatched their newly acquired bassist, drummer, and keyboardist and are now touring Europe with a very new drummer and bassist, and Ed Wynne's wife is handling additional keyboards. Ozric music isn't the easiest to play, as you know, so I'd hate to be the new guys. I hope they find a lasting chemistry. Their music is amazing.

BTW, I understand you live in Santa Clara? I grew up in Los Altos Hills. Small virtual world.

Thats just me thumping on the white keys..er..black..on my MP7. SB was installed on receptor ( it worked!) basically I was switching between plugins ( on Receptor) and playing stuff on the fly to a basic bass/pad and percussion track.

EDIT: also that amazing strings that come in at parts and at the end is the " M42 Strings "...created with the excellent Soundfonts by the DR.( on M42 Nebula..part of the Factory sounds and on the demo)

I also liked doing the VSC3 sounds done on richard brooks clone. You can get those patches at PA now as well.

Also had fun doing a very short vocal clip "Moon Luney" 3/4 of the way there. Just once is enough :-)Just stuck a mic into receptor and recorded away.

The MiniMoog bass is from a set I am doing for EVE and should be released soon. Great moog sounds!

The Mellatron was actually a plug the DR made just for me using samples from the net of mellatron stuff. It looks like our string synth interface, but I don't know if we can release it because of the samples :-)But it was a nice Xmas present last year!

Sorry to hear the Ozrics got into a bash..and it IS hard music! Maybe they just have to improvise the whole night :-)
