Hi everyone, hopefully someone is still using Acid in these forums that can help me with the mess that I have created.

I downloaded all of the extra content when I upgraded to Acid 9/10 Pro and opted to move the MxSynth sub-directory with a bunch of instruments out of my C drive to an alternative drive to save space. The problem is I don't know what VST I should be pointing at this sub directory to make the downloaded instruments work, as I have tried the Vita 2 Sampler and the DN-e1 synth but neither of those seem correct, and I cannot find a .dll for MxSynth. If it is neither of those I think I may have accidently deleted the pointer in the plug in manager to the correct instrument as well!! :dog:

Like I said a bit of a mess and any help would be greatly appreciated :help:

Lots of readers but no answers, anyone with some suggestions??

Hello, i have Acid Pro 8, i guess 9 or 10 is similar.
MX Synth is just a folder with Magix instrument plugins, it doesn't have a .dll file.
I have my instruments (Vita Sampler and DN-e1) .dll files in C:\ProgramData\ACID\ACID Pro\8.0\MxSynth (in this folder are the subfolders for each instrument)

I hope this helps :)

Thanks Digic, I will move them into there and see if that makes a difference. I appreciate you taking the time to answer a fellow Acid user :tu:

No problem, let me know if it worked out for you. :tu:

Hey Digic, tried moving but not working.
It has been suggested that I do complete uninstall/reinstall, which will put things back where they belong. Justt hinking if I go down this route do you think I could uninstall Acid 8 & 9 that are stil sat on my PC? I shouldn't think they are needed to make 10 work. Don't worry i won't hold you to any advice if it goes wrong LOL.
