It's true that the analog sticks have less resistant, but, actually I like that. I don't really play shooters though, and, if I coincidentally do, I do it on the PC, because I really suck at aiming with controllers. The Xbox One S also has a lot of input lag with most games, which is also a plus on the PC, where the games run at 60 FPS, and there's no input lag at all...

Update: I installed Kaspersky Security Cloud Free and ran a deep scan. All clear (relief) except it threw Sonarworks Systemwide in quarantine... probably where it belongs

Ok, so it makes sense you haven't really noticed the issues.

Less resistance seems like a good thing until you have to do anything that involves precision. This is especially the case for FPS and platforming. For racing and general moving around it's fine, and given much of FPS movement uses the right-stick to temper the left e.g when strafing and circling, it generally doesn't show. But right-stick aiming is really bad. Resistance is absolutely essential for shooting accuracy.

And if you suck at aiming with controllers, I'd bet that at least with the current generation it's because of the same issue.

As for input lag: It's really not an issue for most, as the kind of shooters that need that kind of twitch precision absolutely should be played with mouse and keys. Consoles aren't for competitive edge for online play

I've always been a console-gamer, and have never experienced such frustration as I have in the last six months of owning the XboneX. I shoulda probably just bought a 360, instead
